Not everyone has the problem of words wrapping with hyphens. Wordpress covers many such problems, but not always. It all depends on what theme that you may be using and what plugins you have.

When I had this problem, I asked about it in Wealthy Affiliate, but no-one had the answer. I did some searching and found solutions. Because no-one in Wealthy Affiliate had an answer, I thought that I would share what I have learned for others with the same problem.

If you do have the problem of many hyphenations throughout your content, then your page or post may not look very attractive. This can also be a problem for your readers which may cause them to leave your website.

Sometimes it could just be a side effect of a plugin that you have. If you can live without that plugin, just remove it and problem solved. However, if this is not the case, then the theme may not have the solution built in. Do not despair because help is on the way.

I will show you three possible solutions that you can use to correct this problem. Some are better than others. The three are:

  1. Code The Paragraphs
  2. Change The Theme Stylesheet
  3. Change The Child Stylesheet

Thanks for the instructions on how to overcome that particular problems. I haven't come across it yet, but at least I know WA will be my first search if it ever comes up and I will likely find this training again.

You are fortunate to not have this problem. My content looked terrible with all the hyphinations. Whereas I could not find any solutions in WA, I researched the solution and then decided to share it with WA with a training post. There is no sense to have my fellow WA members to suffer from this problem also.
