When you are creating your blog roll sometimes the readers will think that you have a static page because they land on one article. To alleviate this there is the READ MORE function in the WordPress editor. It puts a preview of the article that you select with a button for "continue reading".


This is a great way to expose more of your articles to the new reader!

For some reason, "Continue reading..." does not show up in my blog. Before I migrated to WA hosting, it worked in WordPress.

Thank you for that... Very helpful! I wondered how that function would appear. I'll have to see how it might look with Divi. My blog roll is blocks of pictures and texts rather than rolling text.

Yes, I love having a snippet of each of my posts showing so visitors can get an idea of each one and click on what they are interested in. I would not want one post to be all they could see.

That would be like a menu at a restaurant that only showed you one entrée.
