We now have the other file to change, but because you have got this far you'll find that this next file is even easier.
Below the wp-config-sample.php there is another file called wp-config.php. Follow the exact same procedure I’ve explained in each step of this tutorial to add the code, BUT you must use the same code for each file.
For those of you who are nervous getting it wrong, try practicing this on an unimportant/unused site or an unused SiteRubix before changing it on your fully fledged website. If it goes wrong on your unused SiteRubix site, then you can delete it and easily set up another to try again.

These are actually big questions that can't be answered simply. But in essence, PHP files are what make your site look the way it does and they all talk to each other, this includes the config file. Keys & Salts are unique phrases to ward off hackers, I think I explained this in my training. Hackers are evil things that love to destroy. I hope I've answered your question :)

Hi Sharon, no, I don't think it's too complicated, particularly if you have some knowledge of ftp and php, although people may be concerned that if they get it wrong it could crash their sites. I would suggest trying it on a site rubix test site, that way if it goes wrong it can be deleted, then start again on another test site till you find out where you are going wrong. Unfortunately, free members are only allowed two free sites, so I would say to them be careful.
