The Wealthy Affiliate platform does a fantastic job of preventing spam comments on your WordPress blog. However, the spammers are getting very good at getting their message through.

In this training I'm going to tell you about 3 types of blog readers that you might want to block from commenting on your website. We'll then learn a couple of great solutions so that you can prevent spam comments from reoccurring.

Thank you so much, Andrew. I didn't know you could do this. I don''t get many but every once in awhile there's another one.

Right! And I found that once you start getting the odd one, there are usually more to follow! I made the mistake of accepting a couple of spam comments in a couple of different articles and now they think they can send me more every day!

Hello Andrew,

Thanks for the training. As my online business progress, I'm starting to receive spam comments regularly. This will really decrease my workload, so I can focus on the more important aspects of my business.

Cheers,
Eric

Thanks Andrew, just read about someone that is receiving spam and did not know what to do. Sad I did not receive this prior to responding.

No problem Harvey. I'm sure the situation will crop up again. I think this is something that many people might experience. I get quite a few spam comments on my website these days. Mainly because I targeted a couple of keywords that the spammers apparently love! Its been an interesting experience dealing with them!

Thanx for this training Andrew. I haven't yet had any spam on my relatively new site, so didn't know about the Blacklist function. Now that I do, I'll know exactly what to do when I encounter spam in the future

We learn something new every day here! Hope you won't need my training too much, but you know what to do now if you get someone that you need to block.

Take care,
