Adding Categories

I appreciate you know how to add categories but I am just adding a refresher here:

In order to add a category, go to the menu on the left had side of your dashboard and go to posts.

The Category tab is situated in the post tabs, under add new.

Once selected you will have this page load:

Once you have selected the category tab, you can then add a new Category:

You can type the name of the category in the field marked slug.

We will call this category NFL.

As this is the Sport we will not have to add a parent category as this is a parent category.

you can enter a description if you wish but this is for your information.

Now you have your categories, if I wanted now to add the teams then I would add a post under the parent category.

for example:

NFL - NFC - NFC East - Dallas Cowboys (POST)
