This training looks at Pinterest the Social Media Network
It is equally a misunderstood platform for many
But you will be pleased to know that it is simple to understand & use
It is commonly called the 4th Major Social Network, after Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and You Tube
Pinterest was started in 2010 by Ben Silberman and has grown rapidly since then.

Thanks, Dave!
Pinterest and YouTube are the only social platforms that interest me. I love the concept of grouping people with same interests, so one can select a community, without getting into FB or Twitter opinions from everywhere.
More focus on a particular audience to me would be simpler, but maybe in the future, I'll try those.
What do I know, anyway?LOL

Thanks, Dave
Very useful information. I have had a Pinterest account for a long time now but I have been holding off using it "properly" until I fully understand the rules and get a handle on the best strategy for posting pins to boards. I understand that Pinterest has some fairly strict rules about how frequently you can pin images to boards and if you break a rule your account will be banned. I've heard of quite a few affiliate marketers stumbling into Pinterest and making that mistake.
Clearly, it is a platform that is very distinct and offers some serious advantages.
Thanks again for illuminating these interesting stats.
Cheers
