Hi!
0:04
This is justEileen. Welcome to Pinning to Pinterest.
0:07
I had several people ask me how to pin their links,
0:12
images, and favorite pages to Pinterest,
0:15
So I've created this little training to help those that might also have the same questions.
0:22
Next, go to your Pinterest account
0:24
Sign in with your e-mail address and password.
0:28
0:30
When it takes you to the members site
0:32
Click on your account in the upper right hand corner.
0:34
0:36
Then choose the board that you wish to pin your images to, as I show below.
0:40
0:42
Click on "Add a Pin."
0:44
0:46
Choose the location where the image is stored.
0:50
I will choose a file on my device.
0:52
0:55
Click on the "Red" choose image button.
0:58
1:01
Locate the file and Click on the image you wish to use.
1:05
1:07
Verify that the name is correct and then Click "Open."
1:11
1:13
Pick the Board that you want to "Pin" it on - you may "Pin" the same image on more than one board if you wish.
1:19
Now go back go back and look at your Board and you will see that your new pin has been added.
1:24
1:26
So far we've only "Pinned" pictures. Now let's "Pin" an image that will link to one of our Affiliate sites and possible revenue.
1:35
Are you Excited? :-)
1:39
Choose your board and Click on "Add a Pin," just as you did before.
1:46
1:47
This time I will choose the "Web" for the image location.
1:51
1:53
The "Pin from a Website" box will box will pop up.
1:56
I will choose one of my Affiliate linksites and paste the URL into the pink area, seen below.
2:02
Note that it says "To save links quicker, get the Pinterest browser button."
2:07
Only use the "P" to pin general website pages.
2:11
The Pinterest "P" icon will be added to your toolbar when you use Google.
2:16
I do need to WARN you that the "P" should only be used for sharing general Web Pages. I have not been able to have it link to my Affiliate I.D. URLs.
2:24
So, always use your Affiliate URL in the box.
2:28
Note that the new Windows 10 "Edge" browser does not allow extensions, at this time (Jan 2016).
2:34
So just enter the URLs into the URL area.
2:36
I'm "Clicking" on one of my Wealthy Affiliate Links.
2:41
My Affiliate URL will link people to the main information and Sign-up page, which is linked to my account.
2:48
So I enter my Affiliate URL, for this page, into the Http area.
2:54
2:55
In Wealthy Affiliate this brings up several graphics to choose from.
2:59
Which will link people to the main page URL, matched to my Affiliate I.D.
3:04
3:05
You may also use ANY page that contains your Affiliate identification.
3:10
Here I have chosen one of the beginning courses. I Click on the Affiliate button to get the URL matched to my I.D.
3:17
3:18
This is a close up of the Affiliate button.
3:21
3:24
The URL containing my Affiliate I.D. pops up.
3:27
3:28
I copy and paste my Affiliate URL into the form asking the location of my "Pin."
3:33
It linked to the "Getting Started" course page containing my I.D.
3:38
3:40
The Link's graphic for that page appears. It is your Affiliate Link to that page.
3:46
Click the "P" (for Pinning), as shown below.
3:49
Pick the board where you want to Link the Graphic to be "Pinned."
3:54
3:55
Now you can see the various images and Affiliate Links you have Pinned to the Board.
3:59
Click on an image Test, Edit, or Remove it.
4:05
Just as before, you can go to your board to see all the Pins you have added.
4:11
4:12
Now, enjoy Pinterest. It's a great place for bookmarking special things.
4:17
I hope you've enjoyed this training on Pinning to Pinterest.
