Setting up a Google Adwords Account

There are many ways you can use Internet marketing to make money, and in this tutorial we have laid out a simple procedure that will get you up and running as quickly and easily as possible with pay-per-click (PPC) marketing. The first thing that you need to do is visit Google Adwords and create an account. Google Adwords is where you will begin your PPC advertising campaigns. Although at this point you do not have a product or website chosen, you can still sign up for your Adwords account so that when the time comes to start sending traffic to your websites or landing pages, you can do so without having to sign up for an account first.

When you sign up, you will be asked some questions, including what currency and language you want to use. At this point you will also be asked to create your first campaign, but you don't have a product to promote yet so what do you do? You set up a "Bogus" campaign. You can enter anything that you want with the intention of deleting this first campaign once you have successfully signed up. You will be asked for a display and destination URL, but again, you don't have a website so just enter any website that you can think of.

Try "www.wealthyaffiliate.com". You won't be using this campaign so any URL will do. You will also be asked to enter some keywords. Just enter one keyword, for example "wealthy affiliate" and set your Maximum Cost per Click at $0.05. When asked to enter your daily budget just enter $1.00. At this point, you will be asked to sign in using your e-mail address. After setting up your sign-in details you'll be ready to sign in for the first time.

Again, we recommend signing-up for your Adwords account before you do anything else.

Looks like Gambling. Lol! For newbies it would 99% of the time, be a dealer takes all....seriously though, That gamble will come for some of us who are brave someday. i think for very advanced people. Though doesnt hurt to have this knowledge and better for right now being new to just have knowledge it exists without experience. By the time Im into phase 6 & 7. I could try. I would rather spend money on a different type of campaign. Which is why I looked this up. Great discussions in the comments.

PPC...??? Is this the same as Awber? Where you pay for so many clicks to a Marketer who finds traffic for the product or link your selling and their supposed to get you so many clicks within so many hours? And if you reach say 200 clicks within that time frame do you still make any money from your subscribers or No??? And if not.?? The ones who click on your link and
subscibe for further info but dont purchase anything from your ad are you just basically building up your traffic list then.?? And spending more money to run another ad Just hoping to make a sale one day?? Just asking cause I wanna make sure I understand that PPC concept.

Same here too. I think we are missing parts of the puzzle. But we will find the missing parts some day.

PPC has nothing to do with Aweber.

And you don't make any money from clicks. Someone has to buy your product or service.

PPC is for advanced marketing. There is a reason why it is taught at the end of the training here. It's easy to lose money with PPC unless you know what you are doing. You can find out more about it by using the WA search bar, but my advice is to learn and understand everything else first. ~Jude

As you only joined this month, it can take time for Google to index your site. I wouldn't worry about it and just keep doing the training. It will happen when you least expect it. Xx

If you attach a pretty link to the ad campaign, will this work? Or does Google/Bing see through that?

Google do review your website to see if you have a bridge site, and that is not allowed. A bridge site is a website which only purpose is to direct traffic to a single destination. So if I want to send my visitor to Amazon, what should I do?

I am still a little unclear about pay per clicks. Am I being charged per click on someone else's site or am I being paid when people click on an ad in my site?

PPC is where you pay for others to click on your ad. It is set up in google and they post your ad where others searched for products or services that you ad will led them to you .Hope that helps --if not let me know ? .

I am using it on my website. I pay $1.08 per click, that means if someone click on the link and enter my website. The ad show up on the first page of Google Search. Although they click through my site and I pay $1 for them to visit. If they don't buy anything, I lose money.

I have not started using "Adwords PPC", as of yet, but I have made postings on, Face Book, Twitter and used word of month. I have had some visitors but know sells yet.

The point is, just getting the word out about what you are selling or promoting will help brake the ice, so to speak. You may what to consider using "Article Marketing" using Squidoo or Ezinearticles which is all FREE!
