Everyday, I discover pages in websites that I want to save. They may be in a WA post about a great resource for blogging. They may be emailed to me by a friend as a link to an interesting website. More often than not, I stumble on great websites while searching another subject. I can save websites as favorites or bookmark them. I prefer just keep the page URL
There are some advantages to saving URLs as opposed to designating favorites or bookmarking sites.
- URLs are precise. They take me to the exact page I want to visit.
- URLs are easy to save in categories making them easy to retrieve.
- URLs can be saved offline.
- URLs are easily copied and pasted.
Its fairly easy for me to retrieve the permalink for a page or post by going to site manager. I just have to:
- Open WA
- Open Site Manager
- Log into the appropriate website.
- Open the appropriate page or post.
- Copy the permalink.
But its easier for me, to retrieve that permalink saved outside of site manager. I just have to:
- Open the correct note
- Copy the permalink.
Next I want to talk about the format in which to save a URL.

Thanks for the information. I have been just bookmarking sites and your suggestions are a much better way. I already use Word to make posts and pages and it is always open on my toolbar so having a second folder open for websites will clear up my overloaded bookmarks toolbar. Just hadn't thought of it.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

I really needed this post...My email gets flooded with new trainings and a I write then all down and I have pages full and I am on over load on where to put all this. I have Evernote and I never thought about putting them in there. This just saved me so much time. Thank you for this time saving training. Be Blessed
