At this stage of the course you should have your website created! Congratulations, this is a big accomplishment!
Looking back to 2002 when I started my career in Online Business it took me 30 days just to figure out how to build a website. There definitely weren't any platforms like SiteRubix out there. What takes 30 seconds now, took 30 days back then.
How things have changed!
In this lesson we are going to be walking you through the process of the initial website set-up. This includes the removal of "default" content that is installed with every website as well as a look around of the back office of your website.
Additionally, I am also going to be walking you through the activation of your "Plugins" and be walking you through the benefits of the plugins (feature extensions) that have been installed automatically with your website.
Below is a video walk-through showing you the process of setting up your website. Click play to watch the video below.

Task 1: Login Into Your Website Back Office
In order to do this, you need to log into your website. This is very easy to do and can be done using the "Log In!" button (as shown below).
This will automatically show you all your users you have associated with your website and from there you can log into your website.
No more need for manual logins and the passwords within your account are encrypted and secured using SiteRubix technology!
You can also find your website login details, username, and password within the Details link on your SiteManager dashboard.
Task 2: Activate and Update Your Plugins
After you login, you will see your Wordpress administration dashboard for your website (see below).
This may look completely foreign to you if you have never logged into a WordPress website before, but don't worry, you will get the hang of this and there is a ton of help here within the community to work you through any questions/issues you may run into.
Wordpress is the most powerful and widely used website platform in the world. It is used by over 30% of ALL websites (millions) and it also has a wide range of "add ons" known as plugins that you can use extend the functionality of your website.
When you install website here at WA we pre-install two of the most useful plugins with your website automatically and your first step is going to be activating these plugins.
To do this you will want to click on the Plugins tab within the menu.
You are going to want to go through and activate the "All in One SEO" and "EWW Image Optimizer" plugins. You can do that by clicking the "Activate" button (as shown below).
Upon clicking Activate, these plugins are now "activated" and ready to go. The All in One SEO plugin will take a little bit of set-up, but this will be discussed in detail in the next lesson.
Task 3: Delete Default Posts, Pages and Comments
Every new Wordpress website that you install will come with "default" or dummy content that is added with every website install. You want to get rid of this content before you can start creating content that is relevant to your niche.
The first thing you want to do is delete the default post that is added with each website.
Click on the Posts button, within the side menu.
This will take you to the posts page where you will go to see a list of all the posts on your website. A post is simply a content page on your site (we will be explaining them in more detail later).
Simply "mouse over" the post area and it will reveal the post management buttons. You will want to then click the "Trash" button. This will delete the default "Hello World!" post.
Do the same with the "Pages" link as well.
**Do note that there may not be both default Pages and Posts. If that is the case, just move on.
That is it for this lesson, nice work! You now have a live website that is set-up and ready to go. This is your own Internet "real estate". You will use this website to connect with your niche and ultimately earn revenue through. This website is your foundation for building a successful online business!
The next lesson we are going to be showing you how to get your website ready to rank in Google and other search engines!

Gracias.
But if your new, its kind a hard to understand.
I have a little bit of experience on making website, nut they kill you to do step by step, every time you do something you need to go to a website, subscribe, spend money.
WA is the only site that help you out, teach you no BS.
Its not always about the money you spend.
It is hard to find work from home that doesn't ask you money upfront.
Thank you
Hello good day, I am in the stage of defining the niche that I would love to have. I currently have three activities that I develop and I like to do a lot. Amateur photography, write about the sites I visit, make comments regarding the local trips I make within the metropolitan area of Mexico City and the theme of the health with holistic and natural methods for adults with the intention of maintaining good health. Therefore, the three passions I have are: photograph, travel and write.
I am contemplating of setting up a tourist agency which
will collaborating with overseas outbound tourist company with
local tourist inbound agency.which caters local special
interest sports and sight seeing and products.
Initially i am looking for business companies overseas who handle
tourist business. who are interested to employ me as their
handling agent. I am looking for affiliated members who are doing the same line to have continual contact with them.
I would like to ask a question: Would you recommend one to upgrade into premium level especially when they are still trying to find their way into this online business?
My husband and I also have a small spice company where we sell bottles of our rub for everything from ribs to scrambled eggs and popcorn!!
I just don’t know which direction to head. We have social media accounts for both of these. But no websites for either.
Any thoughts?
Thank you :)
Can someone please explain:
When adding to 'All about me', I didn't do it in word press. I think I made a mistake.. Does this make a difference to where my work is saved? I think when I created a new email I wasn't sure if my 'everythingcats' was already taken or so my email address now is everythingcats2019. I don't understand the difference between website address and the email address. Can they be different or do they have to be the same? is my website address still 'everythingcats', am I the founder of 'everythingcats' or is it now 'everythingcat2019'. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and this is all knew to me, so it's all a bit daughting.
I was so pleased my websites still exist.

I was really scared that with being away the websites may have been deleted.
It feels really good to be back and I am looking forward to the training.
Thanks,
Shawn

Also, the font on the third heading of my ABOUT ME post does not match the other two and I have tried all the different font settings there. How can I fix this?
Cheers to your success,

Phew, I’m really not technically minded at all so building my website is proving to be a challenge...but I’m getting there!
The videos and training are brilliant for me, step but tiny little step guides are what I need for this.
I’m very far from my comfort zone, which is good, I’m learning great things...my 2nd website will be easier to build...there’s optimism for you!
Give me a garden to work in with plants and seeds etc, I have no problem with...this is a bit like growing seeds...with patience and diligence my website will flower...
Have a great day everyone.

I will be happy to earn $200 per month.
QUESTION #2: How much would you be ecstatic earning?
Honestly I can't tell but I am guessing between $300 - $600 per month.
QUESTION #3: And how much TIME are you willing to invest to achieve these goals?
I am willing to sacrifice 4-6 hours after hours a day because i work for 8 hours a day to reach my goals.
I have a question about the menu tabs at the top navigation position. You had mentioned in your training that some templates do and some do not have the Home menu tab. Mine did not, though I was able to add it by following your instructions. My question is that the one I created does not perform (no side menu, text presented in a narrower format) the same as the other tabs in the top or main menu navigation,. Can you possibly please enlighten me as to why this may be the case. Thank you for any help you can provide.

David from Working Light here...:`)
Kyle u are awesome. Moving ahead at my pace. Slow but learning in leaps and bounds. Bitten by the internet entrepreneur proverbial bug.
I know now. After hours of work when possible, at home, instead of wasting time between JOBS(Just Over Broke),....I'm getting busy finally. it will be awhile before i'm paid. No Worries.
Time to be independent. Thanx Kyle and Carson.
Will be premium when it's time. Then I can start paying forward.
Be loved
P.S. Glad I figured out how to reach you.
P.P.S. Best of luck to all at WC.
Thank you for any insight.

#2 Airbrushing & tattooing been doing this tattooing since 14 airbrushing started in 2012
#3 comic collectables I'm a comic nerd
P.S: I have a master card
thanks
I hold a PhD degree in women health and infertility. And I have successfully sold in the past anti-aging products "Offline" but failed to duplicate that success online and lost lots of money.
So, it made sense to me to try again now that I am learning the process all over the right way. I understand that this niche falls under health and beauty which is very competitive industry. Any suggestion as how to narrow it down? Alter it?!
I also thought about teaching the technical aspect of podcasting and/or voice over since I have been doing both for over 13 years now. I can also recommend products (mics, mixers..etc) for commissions. But I have also noticed that neither have a big market to make it a long-term.
Finally, Keto Dieting since I have been on it for few months now and the results are just amazing. Lost more than 14Kg so I think I can contribute in this market. But is keto diet very generic?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
I'm currently building the list of keywords for the site I'm building and I've noticed that in the list for the first word I've typed I've got the Avg at over 100, but the QSR shows no number at all (it's literally blank). Is this to indicate to me that the keywords displaying these stats are uncommon-but-ripe-keywords, or is this indicative of something else?
Thank you,
Oz
A newbie here. And I wonder whether it is allowed to skip the tasks and proceed to next lesson. As we know that as non-premium member we'all only have 7 days to ask questions in the forum.
I don't think that I can manage to upgrade my status as yet, on the other hand I don't want t waste and want to make use as much as possible those chances given whilst proceeding as far as I can go the process of the first 10.
Thank you in advance :)
I am planning on making my website as popular as possible but as i am doing my lessons now, I took the free domain with siterubix, my question is if this would affect my ability to get traffic and make money on my site.
Would I be better of using a bought .com domain? I would think having your own domain that you bought will be better?
1. Who is the owner of bought domain via WA?
2. Can i edit my webpage (not siterubix, com) in different ways than using siterubix or WA? In other words.. what will happen to my page when i decide one day to leave WA community?
3. I wanted to pick one specific domain name but its now available. Is it worth to buy that .com page or is it better to pick .net (for example). I thing websites with .com looks more professional than .net .org ...
P.S. I hope #2 doesnt sound like i want to run away from WA today. Im only 2 days here but im really excited about this. This second question just means if i have full access and control above my website.
Thanks for answers and wish you all nice day.
