How you will earn money?

There are many ways to make money online...1000's of different ways in fact! The problem is that people often get distracted by the "latest and greatest" product or service and they are never able to build a successful (and revenue generating) business.

Today we are going to run you through one of the most fundamental, yet the most powerful processes of generating revenue online. It is a proven technique, it is one that we use, and one that 10,000's of other WA members use. It is also the ultimate "making money" process that worked 5 years ago and it is going to work 5 years from now and will present as much opportunity in the massive online world as you like

Just one thing before you get into the MONEY "stuff"...

The making money part of your business won't happen quite yet. Before you earn money, you are going to first be focusing on creating your niche website (which will take place in the next two lessons) and the working to get traffic to your website. Without a website, without content, and without traffic, the MONEY doesn't happen.

So don't look at this like a race. You will reach success and a good deal of it, but before you build your own personal SKYSCRAPER of a business, you must first have a solid foundation to build it on. That is going to be our first goal within the Getting Started training. Cool?

Alright, let's continue on! :)

Below is a video walk-through of today's lesson and the process of "how to make money online". Just click the PLAY button to watch it!

DISCUSS THIS VIDEO HERE: How to Make Money Online - The Process Explained

Over the coming days you are going to be working through this process and by the end of this phase of the training you are going to have an awesome foundation in place that will lead you to much greater success.

You are going to have your own website in a niche of your choice. Once you have these things in place, you are going to be able to create as much success as you want online.

Task #1: Understand the Make Money Process

There are MANY different ways that you can earn money online and many different ways in which you can build an entire business. In the coming lessons we are going to be walking you through the following process (and the video above explains it):

View the Full Size Infographic Here

There are 2 billion people (the audience) online and these people are looking (searching) for things all the time. They are looking for information and to buy products. That is where you are going to come in with your website and help these "audiences" by offering them information about what they are looking. You will be "helping" these people and earning revenue in the process.

By Lesson 4 of this course you are going to have your very own website in place that you will use to connect with your chosen audience. You will have your very own piece of the internet and a platform to connect anyone that you want who browses the Internet.

Here is a tutorial walking you through 6 of the ways that you are going to be able to earn MONEY from your website...

Task #2: Create (Write Down) Your Financial Goals

You want to earn revenue right? That is great. In order to earn anything however, you need to have some goals in place.

In this task we want you to join in on a "money goals" discussion here at Wealthy Affiliate. You are going to be telling us what your goals are and going forward, we are going to be helping you achieve these very goals!

QUESTION #1: How much money would you be happy earning?

QUESTION #2: How much would you be ecstatic earning?

QUESTION #3: And how much TIME are you willing to invest to achieve these goals?

PLEASE make 100% sure that you do not skip this step and you revisit this post regularly when you are in need of some motivation. I can absolutely assure you that if you work hard at this and you are persistent towards these goals, you will achieve them. But ultimately it is UP TO YOU!

Join Discussion: What are your "money" goals?

In addition to this, it would be wonderful if you commented on at least TWO other people's goals they have posted within the "goals post".

The awesome part of the community here is that you can network with many other "like minded" people here at Wealthy Affiliate and this is a good way to get this rolling. Remember, this is a community and a very helpful and friendly one! :)

So just for the sake of trying the "build a website" feature of the training, can I create a website to play around with the structure of it and then simply delete it when I'm ready to build a real website? I ask because I'm not completely ready with a niche but would still like to play around with the build a website task...and when does the website become live and active?

I have been gone for awhile. Starting from the start. I think I am still afraid of failing. I know I can do this, but I still have doubts. This is my best chance to make money at home and take care of my family. So I have to quit procrastinating and get with it.

i am really confused. I came here wanting to learn how to drive traffic to my network marketing personal website for accessories -mostly affordable fashion jewelry, so i really need a niche within that-i wouldn't go as far as to say that I am passionate about it but i like to look stylish so it's not a problem & i need to make it work either way. However, i am really struggling to narrow this down into something that is not too competitive, as well as a niche i can happily and consistently put up content about. As a second option i like the 'make money' category but as i said i really need to start with the accessories/jewelry.

Selecting the niche you pursue can be one of the hardest choices you have out of the gate starting with online marketing. If you have an interest, some experience and possibly a passion for one or the other niche, then I would go with that.

Before you select one or the other, do a little research to see what the market potential may be. Is there a big enough audience that can be monetized, i.e. will there be enough sales to make it worth your while...

In some cases, people are not interested in making money off their niche so then that would fall out of the equation. Most people, however, are looking for something that they know they will be able to make some income from.

It seems you already sort of have a niche in mind, and since you are already somewhat familiar with this niche, you also will know if you can make money either promoting products to the target audience or selling your products to them...

Are there shoulder niches (similar but unique) that would complement the niche and if so, could you further realize sales by bringing them in as appropriate?

Also, how much income are you looking for and at what pace would yo like that to start/grow? Will the niche support that?

What about competition? Is there a lot or a little? Is there anything that you can offer that is unique and would capture that target audience?

What is the competition doing? How do their websites look, how are they presenting product offers, what is good and bad that you can do better?

These are all the kinds of question to ask yourself as you make a decision on which niche to go with...

It is good to do this at the start because you do not want to put in 3.6 or more months into a project then decide it is not for you...

I do not think you HAVE to have a passion, but it must at least make economic sense so you know you will have the chance to make something for your work...

If you DO have a passion, it makes it much more fun though...IN my case, I went with the making money online niche and added others over time...

The problem with that strategy is that there are a huge amount of other players/competition in the niche and likely it will be a long-term project if you go in that direction...

Best of luck and I hope this will nudge you in one direction or the other as you move forward!

Cheers!

Hi, M8...

If you go to the search window at the top of this page and type in 'success' you will get lots of success stories from members...

It will take some time to get everything set up and content added to the point that you can start monetizing the website...

The time it takes to start making money varies wildly for members because each pursues their own path...

There are some members that start making money after a month or two, or even less, while others do not see significant income until a year or even more...

The training outline works, as you will see from the reviews and testimonials you can read when you do that search. It is how you apply it that will determine the time to start making money...

There are members that have been here 5,7, even 10 years already (I have been here almost 2)...That should tell you something (that this works!)...

Best of luck to you, and be assured you are in the right place to learn how to properly get an online marketing business in place and over time scale it up to a business with income that will allow you to leave the 9-5 world...

Cheers!

All my keywords are phrases and I have 22 of them.
I got a bit overwhelmed with Jaaxy.
It's hard not to stop once you get going.
Just want to confirm if the phrase counts as one unified keyword?
and if you used two or more keyword phrases in the one post or one page would that count as two or 3 keywords or is only one keyword used per page? if that makes sense?

Cheers

I'm wanting to start a physical errand service business in my surrounding area, which I've been doing research putting together business plan getting prices for start up cost etc. before I found out about WA of course I am wanting to set up a website, can I should include affiliate links in my website, if so since this will mainly be an advertising website for my errand business, what type of products could I implement on there that has something that ties in with errands? But I also want to diversify myself in the affiliate marketing with different niches. It's taking more time than expected trying to set up my physical business and this too. sort of overwhelmed by trying to learn something new. I easily get intimidated by something I've never done before and have the feeling of of failure because i really don't know what I'm doing. 1) Robots Meta NOINDEX

2) Robots Meta NOFOLLOW

3) Disable on this page/post

Kyle, yes you can tick all 3 boxes.

The first one will flag for the search engine robots not to index this page. The second is to flag for them not to follow any of the links on the page. The final one relates to SEO on the page, but seeing we are not getting the page index SEO does not matter.

Hope that helps.

I bought a domain from Go Daddy before I joined WA. I went thru lesson 1 with the domain on .siterubix. now I'm on lesson 2 and just called GD to get a transfer code to transfer my domain. They say they can't send it for 60 days. It is locked - for my protection.
This will really hamper my progress. any ideas?

Just point it to WA/SiteHosting, it will make no difference to your progress...your site will still be hosted here, but GoDaddy will be your registrar.

Take a look at this The lockdown is part of their standard policy and something that catches lots of people out, every registrar will have some lockdown period on new purchases.

I thought is was a series of numbers like a DNS or something

Im assuming you only bought a domain but you`re not hosting at GoDaddy, if it`S only a domain purchase, you should be able to host at a place of your choice.
Reply
NeBro Premium
You login to your GoDaddy account and change the NS servers to use the ones at WA/SiteHosting, if you have purchased hosting with GD, then cancel it, as you will be using the WA/SiteHosting space included with your premium membership. (unless of course, you are planning on using hosting elsewhere, then you do not want to point nor transfer it here)

Primary: NS1.MYWAHOSTING.COM
Secondary: NS2.MYWAHOSTING.COM

Then all of your DNS will be handled by SiteHosting. Ignore the nonsense about GoDaddy, just point it here if you want to take advantage of the hosting here, and if in 60 days you want to transfer it over then do so, or you can leave it where it is if you are happy with the setup.

You will need to add your domain go to Site Rubix > Site Domains and go to the bottom and add your domain, make sure you put it in exactly.

It may take up to 24-48hrs but to be honest, its usually way quicker than this, and WA Site Hosting uses instant DNS which mean once you add your domain name, it should be 'available'.

If you get stuck, then contact Site Support, they will make sure you get fixed up properly and quickly.

The other thing you will then have to do (as you will be told in the training) is move your Site Rubix free site to your Domain, again, follow the intstructions in the tutorials, and post up if stuck and, again, you can contact Site Support if struggling who will get you moving and on track.

Is your domain a .CA or .COM or maybe a .ORG? If your site is example.com, in the mean time you could still create a example.ca, so then you have two markets for your one site. Or just create a whole other name for now. But you can have the name servers point here in the mean time, GoDaddy has very good customer support, just give them a call they will help you through the process.

Best of luck.

Hmmm....

I have a few niche ideas in mind, but have no idea how that translates to money. I'll share a few interests and maybe someone can help me understand how they would make money
- Movies (probably too broad, but don't know how to narrow it down in a way that would generate money)
- Minimalism (if there is ever a bad niche, this must be it right? I mean, minimalists are trying not to buy to much.
- RV Family Living (don't know much about this yet, but this is the reason I'm looking to make passive income...I want to quit my job and live on the road with my family).
- Christian Non-Profits (Feeding the needy)

Do you know if I have to create a website for each niche?

that's a good question. is the idea behind this getting them to go buy one product, or could you have multiple links within the one category that forwards them to many products in the niche?

I'd say three kinky one you couldn't turn into money is the Christian nonprofits because they likely won't have an affiliate program. However, if you gear towards helping those nonprofits you could use affiliate links for helpful supplies and services to these nonprofits.

Hi Jonile,

I think all your choices will make excellent sub topics. They can be incorporated into one website. You could do product reviews on the tools and equipment you use during preparation. You could offer tips on living a healthy lifestyle (healthy recipes, diet and exercise, etc). You could offer tips on budget friendly meal planning, practical meal planning, time saving tips, etc. The possibilities for this are endless.
All the best to you!

Hi john, If you are looking to generate revenue I would suggest the developmental disabillites first, as you will most certainly get a lot more web traffic from general public than the security page, save the security page perhaps for you 4th or 5th site down the road. You second site, could be your intellectual one.

Hi JDA208, first of all it would be nice if you presented yourself with a name, you can add the letters and numbers a the end of your name. Now as for your direction, and what you want to center on i think it is far to advanced to present to the general public. Unless you have a group behind you that can develop and support a anti-virus system then in my view you are not going to be getting your hopes and dreams up and running. But that is just my opinion. Please let me know what you create i would be very interested in seeing the end result. Regards Frank Perrella

Ok I am just doing it step by step and doing what I am told ;-) To many, my goals may not seem so...lofty. Living in Cambodia as I do, I can live a very good life and support the community in a meaningful way earning just $1,000 a month. That still sounds funny to me wen I think of the $5,000 a month I was earning in the U.S. with my own company 22 years ago. Still, in terms of larger goals, I would shoot for $3,000 per month which would give me ultimate freedom and would allow me a nice financial platform to help others do the same.

Hi,
I understand your question and concerns regarding whether you can make money with the wealthy affiliate system.

The system taught here is a proven way to create an online affiliate marketing business. Every aspect of the training is set up for you to achieve that goal.

There are two ways you can go about things. Firstly, you can use the training to set up your own niche website. If you follow the training to the letter and take in everything you are taught and implement it on your site then you WILL become an authority within your niche through time. During the training, you will be taught how to monetize your website. This will allow you to review and advertise products on your site. If people buy those products through your site then you will earn commission from those sales. The key in this approach is to become an authority within your chosen niche.

As you build your website, you will see traffic to your site increase. As your traffic increases, the search engines will increasingly recognise you as an authority within your chosen field. Once you become an authority, then people will trust your site and what you recommend to them by way of products. At this stage, you will be seeing very high volumes of traffic coming to your site on a consistent basis. You will also see sales happen on a very regular basis.

The second model you can use here is to promote Wealthy Affiliate. The approach is the same as the first model. Follow the training through the Bootcamp, The aim with this model is to get people to sign up to Wealthy Affiliate. When someone signs up you will receive a commission on their monthly or yearly payment.

It is difficult to give advice on what model to follow. What I can say is that the overall model of creating an online business taught here at Wealthy Affiliate has been tried and tested. It has worked and continues to work for thousands of people on a daily basis.

My own example began 6 months ago. I began the training to build my own niche website around hearing loss. I am severely hard of hearing so it was a natural niche for me to chose. Helping others with hearing loss is a passion of mine.

I followed the training faithfully and it took me about 3 months to complete the course. During that time I never made a penny. I had committed myself to the long haul so just kept doing what the training had taught me. Even though I hadn't earned any money yet, I could see the progress I was making. I learned so much in those first few months. I knew that if I continued to follow the training then everything else would follow.

My website has been up and running for just over 6 months now. My site is getting more and more traffic every day. For the last 2 months, I have been getting a minimum of 4 sales per month. Considering that my average commission from each sale is £200 then you can see that I have very quickly gone from nothing to approximately £800 per month or ($1000).

My goals for the remainder of this year is to get my website to be the number 1 ranked site with the search engines. If I can achieve that then more sales will follow. I have also helped hundreds of people through my site to date with advice on a whole range of hearing health issues.

There are 2 pieces of advice I would give to anyone joining Wealthy Affiliate.

Firstly, follow the training to the letter. Don't be tempted to skip parts of it if things seem to be going slow. The training is structured in such a way that every part of it is interlinked. For the Privacy Policy page, my options to NOT have this page indexed are different than the video. I only have the following two options:

Robots Meta NOINDEX - Same as video
Robots Meta NOFOLLOW - Same as video

Is there anything I am missing? There a 4 check boxes in the video.

I am missing:

Robots Meta NOODP
Robots Meta NOYDIR

When I was doing this part, I also only had the NOINDEX and NOFOLLOW, so I only checked those two boxes. I was thinking that maybe the NOODP and NOYDIR was from a previous version of the plugin, that's why it's not there now.

Hey everyone! I am definitely interested in promoting WA as well as work from home opportunities in general, possibly targeted towards women entrepreneurship specifically. I know it is a competitive space as my FB feed is full of ads from people promoting their own training, webinars communities. Is this a niche that may be very difficult to break into due to the competition?
Reply
ericcantu Premium
The good thing about promoting WA even with a large number of competitors out there pushing their own product is, because of this, think of the almost limitless number of review articles you'll be able to publish and share where you compare the WA opportunity to other ones.

When you compare and leverage the opportunities in a way that shows WA to be the better one in your opinion, you create a great opportunity for someone to follow your direction and join WA.

Especially with the fact that you're targeting women I think you'll do just fine.

Enroll into the WA Bootcamp and follow that training! Good luck!

I really don't have any interest in anything as far as coming up with for a "niche" can't I just do a search on what people are searching for or interested in at the time that seems be a popular. and go from that to help determine a direction in what to choose from and go from there?
Reply
Marlinda1 Premium
Hey there!

You can decide on a topic however you want to find it. It will still be a 'niche' because it will be on a certain topic area :) I mean, you don't want a site that's about ice cream and car motors. Or celeb gossip and science. You know?

How that helps :)

I'm sure that if you think about it for a bit, you can come up with something that interests you.

You mention in your profile that you are not a materialistic person and would prefer to be able to do without money. That's actually pretty great both from a personal point of view and also in regards to WA. You will likely find that the people who are doing very well here are those who are following a passion or doing this to help others. You will hear "help, don't sell" several times throughout the training.

I noticed on your profile page that you mentioned catching 12 fish last week. There's a potential niche for you: fishing gear. Or maybe camping/ outdoor gear.

If you can find something that appeals to you and that you have some knowledge about, you can effectively share that information with others. If, for example, you love fishing and can help people find the best fishing gear, then they might buy those items through your site. That's what it's all about: people want to buy stuff and you help them decide what good and point out where to get it.

Quick question;

Kyle said to select the Robots Meta so the privacy page doesn't get indexed.
- Robots Meta NOINDEX
- Robots Meta NOFOLLOW
- Robots Meta NOODP
- Robots Meta NOTDIR

Of course I have a different theme and it reads like this:
- Robots Meta NOINDEX
- Robots Meta NOFOLLOW
Which I have the selected but I have two more that are different
- Exclude From Sitemap
- Disable on this page/post

I did not select these two. Should I have them selected?

Your input is greatly appreciated

I only know that since the last All In One Seo Update (a few weeks ago) Robots Meta NOODP and Robots Meta NOTDIR are not showing up anymore...
So, first we had to check four boxes, now only the first two... Not sure about the other two you mentioned, I see only Disable on this page/post under my posts...

What is some advice for someone who is a little timid about starting a website... I'm kinda overwhelmed. The niche I'd like to go into is Business Fashion, a kinda 'How to Look Professional' website, but i don't know how to begin. Like staring at a blank page, but not knowing what to write..

It's okay if you feel overwhelmed. Everyone does at some point. I felt stuck and changed my website platform three times! You know your topic, for your first page just think about introducing yourself, then what lead you to this niche. Why do you want to create this page? Why did you choose this niche? Have confidence in yourself and know that you can do this and pages can be deleted. I deleted one yesterday. You've got this! All the best,
Keli

Best advice is DON'T be timid. It's scary and very overwhelming at first for all of us. I'm 16 days new. And in that 16 days I've hyperventilated, said I'm not going to be successful, deleted and deleted again webpages, stopped working on a webpage because I read too much information and didn't know what to add to my page, etc, etc. Yesterday I said to hell with it posted my page and got 2 sales immediately. My site still needs work so I'll be updating as often as I can. Just put something on the page.

Business Fashion, what arenas are you focusing on? The Executive Corporate side, the Individual Business Owner side, Shabby Chic or combo of Exec and Shabby? What do you like about Business Fashion? Pants or Skirt Suits for women? You can change everything before you publish and even after you publish it. YOU control it. It's your baby.

So stop being timid and gets a working, lol. Good Luck

I guess this is where I'm going to have to "pause", on this today.
I have so many idea's, but of course I'm going to have to follow something I have a greater knowlage about.
I mean I understand it as, it would be best to appeal to the broadest of audiance IE. MAKE LOT'S OF MONEY ON MY WEBSITE!", but if I was an expert on that,, I wouldn't be here, Maybe?.. lol Be back later guys..

Keep up with the training just as you're doing and you'll get a better feel for everything :) While it's good to reach out to a large audience (we all want major traffic, right?) it's also important not to go into *too* broad of a niche that has so much competition that you're lost in the crowd.

Kyle will explain everything and cover the right types of niches that are most profitable. Keep up with the training and you'll be well on your way :)

Thank you for this Kyle. However, how different can the domain name be from the key word? For example can I use a domain name lets say my domain name is "affiliatesuccess"; then my key words I go for something like: 1. "Success in online business" or something like "How to make money online"?

Your domain ultimately comes down to you. The more relevant your domain to your site the better. Your domain is just the domain. You can rename your site under site identity all you want.

A quick one, what if I already built a site (WP) which I self-host? I am happy with the site etc. I just need to add content and get it active. Can I do that? It is one site, I have two others as well which I can re-do here if need be.

No problem, however I have I have just moved all my sites to WA and am saving the hosting fee on the third party.

Mark
Reply
cornevanzyl Premium
OK brilliant, so that is possible as I like my WP framework (STUDIOPRESS) and theme that I have. Which means that you use WA as a host. Is this correct?
Reply
NeBro Premium
Hi, as Mark says you can do that.

What you learn at WA is how to monetize your site, it matters not where it is or whether it is on WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, good old HTML/CSS/JS or other weird and wonderful base, and to a large extent, it matters not where it is hosted, now how it is hosted or on what platform.

What you learn here can be applied to almost any web based business and site as you are learning, to a large extent, internet and affiliate marketing.

If the other sites you mention are in WordPress you can export the content and import them into a new WordPress site here at WA. Sometimes it is better to just start out again though, it all depends on what you have currently and how you plan on using it.

You can use any theme too, WA is not a fixed platform, in the respect your are limited to the themes on offer and are blocked from using anything else, it is a regular style host, that just happens to be primed for WordPress, so the WordPress installation you get is a regular WordPress installation and you can modify it as such, so you can use a StudioPress theme if you like.

If you have domain names you wish to use, then you can point them at WA Site Hosting or transfer them into WA Site Domains/Site Hosting and use the hosting included with your premium plan, which could cut down on some of your costs.

Of course, as we have already mentioned, you can also keep everything as it is, and just learn your IM/AM stuff here and apply it to your sites as you like.

Best wishes

Neil

Alot of niches that I would love to do, trying to be more specific uhmm is abit hard ...niche: health / subs: cancer-diabetes-heartprobs-obesity weightlost- / sub subs: natural remedies or treatments or supplements or DIY .. health is such a huge niche, is it ok to have a few others to address some health problems and possible treatments - any thoughts on this - main reason is to bring about more awareness that you can help yourself ... chemo or other medical treatments is not always the answer ... or should I go with something more simple like: ie: fidget gadget de-stresser ...

If you head in the health direction, you would definitely want to narrow things down. Are you helping people with back problems, foot fungus, arterial issues, balding, etc.

There are 1,000's of directions that you could head there and you would want to narrow it down.

How much content is too little or too much content? I personally am a person of few words, I like things short, straight forward and to the point. If I go to a website and there is too much content I simply scan for what I need and don't read the rest especially if it's not relevant or should I say if I don't find it relevant. There can be too much fluff on a page.
Reply
MarkPerkins Premium
Couldn't agree more about too many words. Trouble is Google likes us to have at least 300 words I think, I was always told 500 min but I don't like going over 800.

Again it is all about layout that also keeps a visitor interested.

So many different versions on this. Def. must be over 500 words and better to be closer to 1500+ Personally I don't like really long posts unless it is really captivating information BUT google apparently does! :) If you can aim for 700-1000 you should be in a safe range. If it is a review you will find yourself easily over the 1000 word range.

Dang it Google. Thanks.
Reply
ericcantu Premium
Like everyone else said, it needs to be above 300, probably closer to 500 or 600. When someone clicks over to a page and all they see are a few paragraphs of copy, most feel that it isn't an authority post, know what I mean?

Now you don't want a wall of text either. So breaking up the paragraphs into a couple of sentences each is the way to go. Plenty of white space and well placed images to break up the text.

As you write out the content just type it as if you were in conversation and you'll find before you know it you're at 600 and even 800.

Google likes it when users go to your page and stay awhile. It shows a good user experience and that's what gets your site ranking :)

You can do it! (just don't do what I did in school and have a last sentence that says, "I hope you've enjoyed this report very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very much" just to get to the desired word count, lol.

Damn so I have to find intriguing fluff to extend page 2 & 3 of my site. I used to love to write, wrote short stories and worked for a newspaper in high school and college writing and editing articles. Now it just seems annoying. Must dig deep to resurface the writer in me.

And no, I'd chose a different ending, lol

Hi
I have just watched the choose your niche training, my question is why wouldn't you research a niche that is very high paying and go in that direction? ( I did a bit of googling and found like what seem like great ideas, not really of too much interest to me but I could research to know enough right? )
Reply
MarkPerkins Premium
Yes you could research. However... If you are just starting out it is, in my opinion, far better to work in a niche you are comfortable with and already knowledgeable in. You have a lot of posts to write and adding heaps of research will slow you down.

Quite often the high paying niches are very competitive and you need to gain a lot of experience to tackle them.

My comments for what they are worth.

Mark
Reply
MsMerry Premium
I think you might be able to do both. The whole concept of being totally passionate about something is not always enough. Sometimes the niche we are passionate about is very competitive and that makes it difficult.
Mark has a point but research even in a niche we love is still important. More so for reviews.

You can do any niche you like.. it is about your passion here. You will want to continue to write content on the website. If it isn't your passion or hobby you might not persist and continue to write any content, am i right? So do any kinda website you like with the niche you're passionate on. After that post on the website, i might want to see your music making service. :)
Hope that helps.

You could do one site for your audio business, and one for affiliate stuff, or do them together. It depends on what your audio affiliate niche is, plus what your audio services niche is. If they are the same, then it works. If not, then you should make separate sites.

For example, if your site is about the best headphones for dj mixing, that wouldn't fit with voice over services. An affiilate site on "how to book your first gig as a DJ" would not fit well with a a corporate audio engineer services website.

Go into your website via WordPress, select Appearances from the Dashboard, then Menus. On the right side the menu items should be listed under "Menu Structure." Once I build my website, I will probably affiliate with WA. I have been watching hours and hours of video's trying to convince to pay for the privilege to work. I just kept thinking "If you earn 6 figures doing this, why do you want my $47?" I think it would be awesome to help others who are going through the same thing to find something like we have found.

It's a business just like everything else. Just because Verizon & AT&T pull in over 6 figures a year, should everyone get free phone services?
A membership here is not a "right", it is a service just like everything else. With a premium membership you get 25 free websites, access to 5 10-level courses, a SSL security certificate for all of your websites, 24/7 tech support, community help at your fingertips, additional training modules that come out weekly, and more. If you were to try and get those things on your own in another way, as a beginner, I guarantee you would end up paying much more than that $47.
This is legitimate "training".. and in that sense, you should really look at it as tuition of sorts. Where can you go to school for an internet marketing / affiliate marketing course that is going to cost you $47? Nowhere. And I guarantee the value that you get in the ability to have access to this community full of top performers in the marketing industry beats any class you could attend in one semester's time. Hi, I was doing IM about 8 years ago. I was affiliated with The Keyword Academy to name one. Back then it was also all about keyword research, SEO, etc... Then Google updated their algorithm and made all of that obsolete. True content became the King. Organic search and the quality of content was the way to get ranked. Lots and lots of sites where pushed waaaay down the search results and some even de-indexed. So, what changed to justify doing the same thing all over again today? What makes WA different? Don't get me wrong, I want to believe. But before sinking more time and money into this, I want to know what to expect the second time around :)
