OK, awesome. You now have your niche, in other words, the direction for your brand & business. That is great and don't worry about this not being "perfectly clear" at this point, as you move forward the pieces of the puzzle are going to come together.

Starting with a big piece today, your website. We are going to be taking our niche idea and turning it into a tangible business starting with your website.

Building a Website Ain't Scary, It's FUN!

Building a website sounds like a "scary" process, but fortunately you have access to the most advanced, yet simplistic website platform in the world here at Wealthy Affiliate. We pride ourselves as a technology company here at Wealthy Affiliate and we are the industry leaders in the website development space.

I am not going to toot our horn any longer, I would rather you experience the website builder and platform for itself. The first step today is going to be building your website, which will literally take you less than 30 seconds.

Click the SiteBuilder link

within the menu, and you are going to be ready to rock here (and complete the next task).

Below I have included a "Building Your Website in Under 30 Seconds" video walking you through the Website Platform (also knwn as SiteRubix) here at WA and showing you how quickly and efficiently you can build a website here at Wealthy Affiliate.

Task 1: Build Your Website

Your website is your foundation of your business. It is where all of your traffic is ultimately going to come to, where you are going to build brand and trust within the industry, and where you can promote products/services and generate $$$!

The SiteBuilder platform here at WA is the most simplistic, yet advanced in the industry. It is going to take less than 30 seconds to get a fully operational, profit ready Wordpress website up and running online.

There are 4 steps in the website build process, that I am going to walk you through here. To access the SiteBuilder and EVERYTHING related to your website, you will simply click the light blue "SiteRubix" button in the main menu.

Step 1: Choose the Kind of Website

There are really TWO options here, on a FREE website or on your OWN domain. Ideally, you will have your own domain, but that can come with time.

You can "register" your very own domains right within Wealthy Affiliate using our state of the art SiteDomains platform, which will allow you to instantly set-up your own domain for your own use.

If you are just starting out as a Starter member, you will be building a website on the .siterubix.com domain, which is a completely free website. You can build and host up to 2 FREE websites as a Starter.

As a Premium member, you can build and host up to 25 free websites and the ability to create 25 sites on your own domains (total 50 websites). That is more than adequate to drive many multi-million dollar businesses over time.

For the sake of this training, we are going to be choosing "On a free domain".

Do know that within the Premium membership, you can easily MOVE a free .siterubix.com button to a registered domain (one you may own) using the "Premium Only" MOVE feature. So by all means start off with a free website and then down the road you can move it to your own domain.

Step 2: Choose a Domain

Remember last lesson when I chose my "niche". In this step, I am going to be choosing a name for my website and placing it in the "domain name" field. This is because this will be my website URL and my brand moving forward.

As you can see below, I have added my brand "how to lose belly fat today" into the domain field.

When you type in your domain, it will let you know if it is available or not. In my case it was, but if your first choice is not available simply do another search until you find a domain name that works for you.

You cannot put spaces in your domain name, hence why my domain is "howtolosebellyfattoday".

Step 3: Choose a Website Name

The name of your website should match your domain, but it just needs to be grammatically correct (with proper spacing). You can see below my example of this:

Domain: basketballskillsanddrills.stierubix.com

Title: Basketball Skills and Drills

It is as simple as that. Don't overthink this step, your title will be the same as your domain.

Step 4: Choose a Design

The last step is choosing a "look" for your theme. As a Starter member you will have access to 12, hand picked quality designs.

As a Premium Member though you will have access to over 2,464 designs (as shown below) or your website and there are always new designs being added to this daily. These are referred to as "Themes".

Choose a design that you like.

Click on the design you like, and then you will be able to build your site.

SiteRubix, a Next Level Website and Hosting Platform.

You are going to notice that there are many other website features allocated within the SiteRubix menu. I don't want to eat up too much of your time here, but it is important that you understand the incredible benefits of the SiteRubix platform.

The powerful hosting you have access you here is unparalleled in the Managed Wordpress hosting industry. We truly specialize here in providing a secure, robust and FAST platform for you to run your website.

We know that your website IS your business, and it is important that you have the most advanced technology to keep your business operating at 100% at all times of the day.

The following are just some of the powerful features included within the SiteRubix platform here at WA.

  • SiteManager (Starter & Premium)
  • SiteContent (Starter & Premium)
  • SiteBuilder (Starter & Premium)
  • SiteDomains (Starter & Premium)

To make your sites secure and fast, we have some SiteRubix EXCLUSIVE technologies to make sure your websites are operating at lightening speeds, but also in a very secure way that protects you from hackers, spammers, and all forms of erroneous attacks.

There you have it, the low down of the SiteRubix platform and you have your website officially up and running online. Exciting stuff!

As we move forward within the training we are going to be building out your website content, and working to get indexed and ranked in Google, Bing & Yahoo (and do so for free).

Have questions about this lesson? Leave them below in the comments area and we will be more than happy to help you out. :)

Okay, I don`t have enough information here. So, I can just recommend this; ask Kyle and Carson. Put their names in the search engine here on WA. Put their names in separately. And explain the problem or problems to them in more detail. But, after this; I will try a suggestion.

If you are talking about adding Affiliate links; all you have to do is use the paperclip in the Wordpress editor. Just highlight the text. Have your link already copied. Then copy the link into where the paperclip has a window open. First you have your link copied. Then highlight the text. Then hit the paperclip; and paste the link in there. Then hit the arrow. As said; if this doesn`t help; try Kyle and Carson. I left instructions before on how to contact them.

I would be happy making $6k a month, but ultimately I would like to double that amount within about a year and a half. Eventually I want to make 6 to 7 figures or more per year.It isn't my goal to hoard all this money for myself. I want to leave a nice inheritance for my children and grandchildren, retire comfortably with no financial worries and bless as many people as I can before the Good Lord calls me home! I would also like to travel and explore this great nation with my loved ones!

1.) What does it mean to "write content" for my niche?
2.) It says that I will be communicating with my niche. What does that mean? I don't have to communicate with customers, do I?
3.) To help people with my niche, I help them passively, right?

Basically, my main concerns are content creation and customer service. I've done customer service, before. I would rather not have to go through that again.

Hi - content is just another word for posts or articles. You will be writing lots of articles on your chosen niche, offering helpful advice.

So, if your niche was dog training you would write articles on that subject, and add reviews on products which would help.

Hi and welcome to WA.

You will be writing posts on your site about different topics. Each post will target a keyword. You will be communicating with your readers through the comments section of your site and/or through social media when you get to that. You won't be talking to them on the phone or anything similar. I would run away on the spot lol.

Hope this helps.

Hi there
As Dianescorpio mentioned your content is your blogs or posts on your website.

As time goes on, and you write more content, then Google starts to trust your site and your articles start to get good rankings.

This is where people will visit and engage with your site.

As for customer service, you do not have to worry about the after-sales service. Remember as an affiliate marketer, you are promoting other people's products or services.

Once they buy a particular product or service from a vendor, it's the vendor's job to ensure that the customer is happy with the product.

Hope that this helps.

Hi KingBiozilla, You have some legit questions here that many people have. Most times when someone shares they don't like customer service or communicating, there has been a bad experience in the past which put you on the run the other way. No one has access to you here or on the internet like a brick and mortar venue would so let go of any fears here. You always have the choice to delete comments or emails or even the person if you choose. No one has control of you unless you give them control. I am here anytime your feeling overwhelmed. Just remember you came here to this great platform to change your life. A rule of thumb "you get what you give"
To your success,

I am new to this as of today, just joined WA a short bit ago. I don't know if I am replying to David or KingBiozilla, but I have a little bit of knowledge about affiliate marketing. Although I haven't made any $$$ at it yet, I know that you don't have to have any interaction with the customers or traffic that that visits your website and you can remain anonymous. All you are doing is re-directing the traffic that visits your website to an already established business that will handle everything for you! It is all automatic! If the customer (or traffic) purchases from the company that you are promoting, it is connected to your own personal affiliate link for that company and you will be paid a commission from that sale. Sounds easy enough to me! I am ready to learn, I just need to know how to get set up and start driving traffic to my own website. I am not a Techie, but I have confidence that I can do this, and so can anybody that wants to. I think a lot of people tend to overthink things and scare themselves out of their own success! I'm ready to learn from those who are successful. The only things that have slowed me down is either a lack of money or a lack of time. I am hoping that the free training from WA is going to change everything. To everyone's success! God Bless, Don.

Hey WA fam! Need some help please. So my niche is within art and interior design inspiration. I have some great content ideas, and I understand how to use keywords. So this I think is very important in having a successful website. However I’m having a hard time coming up with ideas to monetize my website? Obviously through affiliate links but I can’t exactly narrow down who my audience is or what they need? This is super crucial and I would really appreciate some guidance on this. Thanks!!!
Reply
merlynmac Premium
I guess I'd need to know a bit more about the content ideas you have to see what you're writing to.

Perhaps one of your articles could be about designer lighting for example. Then you can write your article on lighting in general and link to detailed reviews of some artistic lighting solutions that would then contain the affiliate links to those items, etc.

One article I wrote for my gardening website was to plant a garden with a theme. My theme was salsa, so I wrote about what you'd want to plant if your end goal was to make salsa during the summer. You could do something similar, give ideas for rooms with a theme and link to some products you love within that theme from Amazon, Bed Bath and Beyond, Target etc. Once you start writing content for your site and doing different research I think you will be able to come up with some other great ideas to monetize within your niche.

Great advice here already Dani. Definitely get writing about the things you think will help and ideas will often spring up on the way. Obviously you want to have some sort of goal as to how to monetise, but the first step is to start getting traffic. You do that by putting great content out there that helps real people.

Be sure to search for those low hanging fruit without too much competition (there will be loads in this niche). Get really specific about certain problems within art and interior design

For the Privacy Policy, is it OK to remove the "Access to your Personal Information" section if you don't have a Name and Email address to enter for the Data Protection Officer?
Or is this some sort of legal text that is needed on all websites?

At this point, I don't have an email address that I want to use for this yet, and would rather get this published and then add it later. But not sure if there is some legal mandate for including this?

Thanks.

Hi - yes, this is required. There has to be a way that a visitor can get in touch with the owner of a website. Why not create a new Gmail address, just for this purpose? You can always change it later.

Team,
I've been stuck on "choose a website" theme for days now. I had some great advice last night, but as I'm not technical and do not know all of the plugins/widgets/capabilities that the different developers are showing, I cannot choose a theme. @Carson and @Kyle, the training needs to cover what these things are before I am able to "choose". For instance, what is a widget, or a threaded comment? Do I need translation? The details for the themes reference many, many other programs/plugins etc that I have no idea about. (What is a plug-in?)
Do I need to go through all of the training and then go back to the beginning to choose my theme?
The training is lacking because it needs to go through the basics and definitions of a website before telling me to choose. (Anal-retentive 0ver-planner with OCD) :)

What I need for my website:

-Blog with the ability for affiliate links (obviously)
-Ability to sell e-books (Do I need e-commerce to sell books I write?)
-Discussion board capable, for the users on the site and obviously comments to my blogs. (I'm sure this is standard)

Thank you in advance,
Will

Hi - as a beginner, it is best to choose a simple theme to start with, as will make it easier for you to follow along with the training. Remember, nobody will see your site for quite a while, so how it looks at this stage should not be a major concern.

Once you have mastered the basics, and need to make it more personalised to your purposes, you can change themes at any time.

So basically, anyone on the internet can use these images, it is just very handy that they are there for you to use without having to open another tab in your browser and go to the different sources to find them.

Hello everyone. Can anyone tell me if I'm wrong. I thought it was possible to surround myself with a few businesses out of 3 or 5 activities that do not feel a heavy workload. I think that by working at the very beginning about 5 hours a day, it is possible to accumulate for example those activities that do not overlap and that leave time to manage them all by simply using the automation system (autopilot) namely:
- Affiliate Marketing
- ebook sales (PLR)
- Youtube content production
- Make Money Blogging
Don't you think it is possible to reconcile these few activities for example ?

Hey Chris,
Wow, you’re very ambitious! I’m impressed. I feel you might be taking on too much in the beginning though.
Personally, I would recommend one business to start with. It will take some consistent publishing of quality articles of 2000 words or so, to start gaining traction with google. YouTube videos, email lists, Ebooks, etc are all great ways to promote your business, and all take time to create.
I’m worried that doing all that with several businesses might result in poorer quality rather than focusing on just one and making it great. Once that one is earning you income, you can start the next.
Does this make sense?

I didn't see the full data for my keyword research. Perhaps this particular keyword has never been searched before, so I did the research with the same keyword that was used by Kyle in the video "Increased Vertical Jump" and same story: I didn't see the full data.

Is everthing ok with Jaaxy? Should I be worried about it? Thanks a lot for your support ;-)

I've always had a chip on my shoulder. So when I started driving, I developed a knack for dealing with my road rage issues. Well one day I was taking my daughter to school and there was a driver riding my bumper. So I all of a sudden said a catchy little slogan and my daughter wrote it down for me. After about a month or so she had almost filled a notebook pad with my slogans. So now people have a choice Bumper Sticker or Bumper Magnets.

Your niche ideas are definitely viable directions for your niche. You need to choose one when starting out, what are you most passionate about?

When deciding on a niche and trying to narrow down to a more specific niche, I recommend you ask yourself the following question:

I want to help people that ______________.

Fill in the blank and you are going to be much closer to a specific audience. After you do this and if you want to run any further ideas by me, let me know and I will give you a hand. :)

That will work and likely will help that store out to get more traffic, leads, and sales. Since it is already in place, you can get started directly with content, etc.

As an aside, you might want to start a second site (or third I guess) that is a niche shoulder site to the niches that you are focusing on with your Shopify stores.

This was you could use the three to establish a bigger footprint in the niche and perhaps it would leverage your efforts. Since you have the stores, my guess is that you also have social accounts relating to them?

That is another area where the additional content that you create for all three can be leveraged (i.e. Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and of course, Facebook)...

Best of luck!

Cheers!

If you go on Google and just type in Images and there are a ton of sites online that have all the images you could ever hope for.

Most of them have very reasonable prices to join. You should do something like that since you are apparently into images quite a lot by the sound of it and then you can photoshop them or whatever else you like.

I am following you now. Please let me know how you make out. Also, if you do Logo's for websites or other graphics work please say something. You could, and should make money from that if that is what you do?

I'm probably way off base but I thought I would say something. You never know. You could be great, and I could wind up with an awesome logo for at least one of my sites?

Good luck,

I bet anyone in Fiverr can do a better job than me when it comes to drawing.

However, I like to make my drawings part of my web pages. On the bottom left, I have paper planes being folded and they fly to the top right. At the bottom left sits a girl whose hair moves and eyes blink. Each time the visitor comes, the dress color changes.

For all of that, at a total file size of not even 35kb.

My ability to synthesize is better than my individual abilities in coding and drawing.

Greetings!
I’m trying to really hone in on my target market, I want to be very clear about how to proceed and would love some advice.

My husband has a rare health condition that is becoming more common by the day. It is a very underserved market. Things like these are still available:

(The health condition)treatment.com
(The health condition)relief.com
(The health condition)solutions.com
(The health condition)care.com
...basically everything is available except for www.(The health condition).com

I can see the specific questions and concerns of these people in all the different Facebook Groups that I’m in, so I know what to write about and what products to advertise based on what they talk about.

I know the domain name isn’t a huge part of the overall marketing plan, but in this case I think it might be because the name of the rare health condition is hard to say, looks a little foreign and looks irrelevant to people unless they have it. (Maybe that’s why the domains are still available lol)

This health condition falls under the umbrella of a larger health condition, let’s just say that umbrella is chronic pain, for instance.

Should I get a domain like www.chronicpainproducts.com and use the rare health condition keywords within the articles I write so they’ll still get ranked, and as a bonus, chronic pain patients would know the site could also be relevant to them? If I use the rare condition in the domain name, I will likely eliminate chronic pain patients from stopping by.

Thoughts?

any health is going to be a great niche. As to your question as to go general or specific to the condition of your husband, I would get the general domain and write the articles using the keywords for your husband's condition.

Before you buy your domain, take a look at my article I wrote on purchasing domains. I mite save you some headache's in the future.

Hi Cheri, If you had an address like www.chronicpain.com it would of course attract more than your target audience. However, you can drill down with your keywords in the posts you write. So, a keyword might be "Escape from MS" for example. It has a QSR of 73. The website address is important and great if you can get close to your target but keywords play a huge part. Often the keywords don't relate to my domain but I do get plenty of organic hits. Hope this helps, Steve C

I like your choice of domain name but to me that makes me think of products to relieve pain? Which I personally would go visit!! but if you are wanting to bring awareness to a specific ailment then is there not a shorter name of it? I have C.O.P.D. (you may know what that is) but obviously I would not use the full name in a domain x are you going to advertise products for his illness? or just general assistance to people who have it?

Hopefully, Im understanding your question correctly. It's all about whom you are trying to target specifically. Is the biggest part of your husbands condition chronic pain? If so you should address this. Having a super specific niche is good. If its not a condition that is talked about alot of people will be looking for info. IMHO, why not write about both? You can address chronic pain and the specific autoimmune diasese you speak of. Just make separate pages within the site and direct people to the specific pages through your links. Use The keywords to target your specific diasease people and broader keywords for the chronic pain people. Autoimmune disorders are like a rubix cube and very individualized, and pain is at the core of alot of the disease, so you can really supercharge your site if you do it right! Hope this helps, good luck!!

Be general but not too general. You want a website where you can speak about a lot of topics regarding your niche. If you only use one health condition as your niche then all your content should be targeted towards that condition.

@Jojoma14 Thank you for engaging! I’m not necessarily trying to bring awareness to the condition, I’m more targeting the people who have already been diagnosed. I’ll be writing about products that may help them with pain relief, and hopefully brilliant product ideas they’ve never thought of before! Unfortunately, there is no acronym or a shorter word for the condition. It’s just one long, weird looking word lol! Sounds like it would be best to keep the domain name more general and use all the low hanging keywords under the chronic pain umbrella.

Thank you for response! Yes, a major part of my husband’s condition is chronic pain. Chronic pain blogs, websites, product pages, etc are oversaturated. However, according to Jaaxy, there are 10,168 searches per month for the name of his condition (who knows what they’re looking for when they are searching that term though). The QSR’s for everything Jaaxy suggests for the condition is under 100, there are very few websites, blogs or products pages, etc for the condition.

It sounds like I might rank for his condition whether I use it in the domain name or not. The natural course of my writing will include both chronic pain and his condition just by the nature of them going hand-in-hand. It sounds like it would be best to keep the domain name more general.

My advice would be to get the specific condition domain, since it has a specific name. People who have, or get that condition will be most familiar with the spelling and meaning of it, so your target audience is already focused and relative by the time they land on your site.

You can still branch out to broader topics related (like the chronic pain example), even if your domain is specific.

What if I bought the relevant domain names with his specific condition and created basic, but informative, landing pages that pointed to my broader topic site?

So how does my website get a better rank in google, respectively come to the first page of results as in our days hardly anyone goes to page two anymore^^

if that part comes later in the training I am sorry for the question.

Hi - that is precisely what this platform teaches you! Essentially, you will learn how to find the keywords which people are using when doing a Google search. You add the keywords to the content on your website, and Google recognises that you have valuable information and ranks you higher.

Since I am manually building my own site, I found an excellent online tool that lets you know if your home title (page title) and home description (meta description) will be fully displayed in Google search.

Apparently, if your home title and description are too long, Google will cut them short but adding "...".

https://totheweb.com/learning_center/tool-test-google-title-meta-description-lengths/

Here's the link. Just key in title and description.

Hi, I know this shouldn't be this difficult, but I am really stuck here at nameing the website and domain name. I am going to promote WA so what am I allowed to put in the name. Where do you go to see what other people are doing, where do you go to find lists of where you can go to research these things.
Reply

Hi - you can call your website whatever you want, providing you don't use a brand name which is trademarked or copyrighted. If you search in Google for "Wealthy Affiliate review", you can see thousands of websites promoting WA, and you can get ideas from looking at their names.

You may notice, while in Google, that there are over 70,000 sites promoting WA. It is a very competitive market. You will need to write a lot of in-depth articles on the make money online niche. Some people find it easier to start with their own niche subject, something they are confident writing about.

Okay let's try this again. Forgive my skepticism but I have come across way to many websites and businesses that promise a lot and deliver almost nothing on those promises. I see I have to upgrade to keep getting support and before I invest my time and almost no money into this program, cause I really need the help me and my family are homeless. We both work just we dont make very much to really change thing so this has caused me took everywhere in finding another job that pays better. So does this really work and not just a good to be true thing, and does this company really deliver on its promises?

Thanks for the clarification Travis. My suggestion is just stay a free member and learn all you can, you can even build two websites for free, no pressure to become Premium, just learn.

Also I would suggest just read about the members here, I do that quite a bit to see how well they are doing and how they achieved.

I have researched many online companies Travis over the last thirty years, and you are right, most are scams, but one thing I noticed here right away is that there is no hype, no boasting of earnings . NO UPSELLS either, all the training is included in your monthly membership cost.

But as I said, Just stay free for now and learn, start building a website for free, ask questions..

Hope it works for you. I for one know I have found my home here at WA .. the community here is extremely helpful and encouraging too.

Hi Travis!

your skepticism is very much understandable so I will be honest. I'm still going through the program (I'm currently on level 3 of the online entrepreneur certification course) and at this level, I am just getting to look at affiliate networks. So I'm still not at the stage where my website is making money yet.

However, I will tell you this. Your success is completely dependent upon you. Wealthy Affiliate is a training course that is designed to teach you the ins and outs of affiliate marketing and It is definitely a learning process. It may take you a few weeks to a month before you can make money. Maybe longer depending upon your reach and possibly the niche you choose.

With any business, you have to be patient and hard-working. So to answer the question on if it will work, it's completely up to you. I understand that you don't want to waste the little money you have so maybe talk to Kyle to see if you can get your first 3 months at a discounted price or something or give it a shot for the first month and try to do as many levels of the entrepreneur certification as you can within that first month (because if you sign up within the first 7 days you only pay $19 for the first month).

I hope this helps.

Thank you for the honesty. I have noticed a few things right out the gate that sets this apart from almost everything else.

First off let me be totally honest here. Wealthy Affiliate is not a job. Wealthy Affiliate is an education program. It is just like an online university and in order for you to earn any money you will have to invest money, fortunately not a lot.

However if you are seeking income within the next couple of months, you will not get it from Wealthy Affiliate. Again, Wealthy Affiliate is an online education program, a school, an online university, definitely not a job.

If you can manage it financially then you will have the best chance at success taking the WA training, it really DOES work. But you will have to study hard and be patient. Income may not start coming in for at least a year after starting.

You will learn how to build your own online business from the ground up, and like all legit successful businesses, making money takes time and starts out on the low end. You can do this if you are hungry to be your own boss.

However it will require you to invest in your education by becoming a premium member. You can stay a free member as long as you want but you will be limited in the information you will get and after 7-days you will not be able to ask questions like you are now.

Hello,

I have a question in regards to a blog post that has been already published and indexed. I created my first blog post initially with a certain domain.

At the time I did not have clarity with which website I wanted to commit to and focus on. I now know which website I need to focus on and that is another domain which offers me another angle.

I would like to use the same post I created for my new website that I will be focusing on building.

I was wondering if it is ok for me to publish the same post that I already published initially to amlighthouse.com and that has already been indexed?

What is the best way to go about this?

Thank you,

hey hi Joseph & welcome to Wealthy Affiliate Premium!

Good question and all questions are good ones here!

It would be considered 'duplicate content' and truly not allowed as far as SEO is concerned and especially if your original post is already indexed!

Absolute no-no!

The best thing would be for you to write another post and have it published. Suggest change the wording and structure so that bots will not be able to recognize your article.

Penalties can range from writing bans to website shut-downs with no questions asked if 'plagiarism' or 'duplicate content' is discovered! ... not worth it, now is it? ....

is there a possibility for him to copy his original post and then delete it from the other website that he is not using? Would the SEO bots still recognize it to be plagiarism?

The only way to do this is to completely change the content until it is nolonger regarded as being duplicated. Unfortunately Google sees this as if you are copying blogs from others and it will become an issue with ranking. Jim

reply #2: here's the featured comment reply by Kyle regarding quality content:

Featured Comment by Kyle, October 16, 2019.

"Google does not like duplicate content and you will instantly lose all credibility and ranking potential within Google as a result of this. This is absolutely going to curb any chances of success with your website.

All your website content should be 100% unique. Sometimes you may need to quote something or curate a component of the content, but I don't recommend that you have any more than 5% duplicate content on a given page (ideally you would have zero).

Unique, quality content is what will lead to rankings!"

Hi, I am struggling with choosing a niche, I am a very experienced Sports Massage Therapist, so health and fitness products seem a good idea and I could certainly write a lot of valuable content on the subject.
BUT I am also very interested in helping others find a way to earn more money while spending more time with their loved ones. This is certainly a big issue here in the UK, where both parents are expected to - and mostly need to - work full-time just to pay for the basics and many would love to work less hours and have more quality time with their children.
The issues I have experienced myself in this field is that there are very few companies that offer genuine help and WA is the first affordable training and support system I have seen that could really help a LOT of people. Including my own family members and friends.
Does anyone have any thoughts on which way I should go?

Hi, Tracy and welcome to WA.

Having a definite idea of what you like is a good starting point. Now, for starters I would recommend sticking with only one niche. Check the pros and cons of each one and pick one. Once you learn the ropes, you can open another website in the other niche you had discarded.
You will be learning a lot through the training and you're expected to write a lot of content. Working on two niches at the same time is a lot to handle, at least in the beginning.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Stacey, well, both really.
I have struggled financially on and off most of my life and so have most of my friends and family members, the notion of giving them and other people in the same position a way to change their fortunes really appeals.
On the other hand I really know my other subject and already have a core business that I could build on and monetise. Maybe I will go with that first and then when I have had some success with that, I could build a 'how to make a better life' niche from a oint of more experience?
I haven't checked the bootcamp yet - I am working my way through the getting started section - but I'll take a quick peep before I make my decision. Thanks for reply :)

Hi Enrique - thanks - that does help. Whilst I would like to help others make money from home, it is a new and not yet proven niche for me.
Whereas, I have 16 years worth of already written articles, research and case studies from my therapy business, so I guess if I stick with what I know and learn new strategies to make it more financially successful then I can think about helping others online later.
Thanks, much appreciated

It seems to me that in choosing a niche, a person might want to do a little market study to determine which general markets have the greatest number of participants and which kind of affiliate programs pay the highest commissions. Once that is understood, look for an interest that falls into those categories if possible.

Is that a reasonable approach? How does one choose a niche? There are so many possibilities. It's daunting!
Reply

The approach is good but you need to find a niche that interestest you or have a passion about.

I think my niche could be what I already help people do in real life: helping them to live with an open heart, in the now, in order to activate the magic of the universe and manifest what they want in life.

Of course you can!!! I struggled with pretty links as well but somehow figured it out. You click on the plugin (after installing it) place your long affiliate link and you have the option to customize it. After is done, you just click copy! But, if it’s stull difficult you can simply just add your long affiliate links to texts, banners, pictures etc, I still do that. Don’t worry too much about it. Pretty links is a resource/tool but it’s mot as important as your actual content. Focus on creating high quality content!

hi there,
Fully understanding the basics and principles of Affiliate Marketing is one of the main steps on your journey towards success. So please, congratulate yourself.
Now, about Pretty links. It is a Wordpress plugin which helps to shrink, cloak, organise, disguise, etc, your original links. So instead of having something like:
www.forexample.com/id_34llxds/2209rx
you can make it look "pretty" www.forexample.com/happyface

My recommendation here, make a note of this and come back to it in the near future. Once you feel comfortable with putting into practice all the basics you have learned so far, then maybe you can move forward and gather new tricks.

I was planning to create a site about alternative medicine, more specifically the sound therapy field. It is the field that I'm most interested about in the moment and have some knowledge about it.The other thing is music production/production equipment, room acoustics etc. I can't decide right now. Anyone have a suggestion what would maybe be "better" for my first page,or maybe some sub niches that I could focuse on around those fields?

Hi Domago

I don't know much about either of those but the idea of sound therapy as alternative medicine is really appealing to me. You may want to be cautious with this though because Google is looking for qualifications within anything that is health-related. Of course, if you have a qualification in it, that is great news for you.

I recommend thinking about who your target market will be with music production and production equipment etc. if you can narrow it down to a very targeted sector of the market, you will be on the way to success. The narrower the niche (to start with) the better. Hope this helps.

Wishing you every success.

My question is.... is it best to go with something you know well like me it would be music and guitar gear, e.t.c or with something else?
Reply
Joo77 Premium
Hi Jason, my personal take: something you’re already familiar with puts you in a better position to recommend the great stuff in that niche to your audience. Less intensive research on your part too, compared to something you do not know so well.

Music products can definitely go global, things like online courses, and stuff that people tend to buy online. Accessories, tuner, books, stands, etc.
Reply
boomergp08 Premium
Yes. It is best to go with what you know.

BUT

With your knowledge in music and guitar gear you could focus in on either other related music sub niches or even something brand specific like all things Gibson.

You could also take your knowledge in music and apply it to other niches in music, doing research on products you may not have considered and include that as your sub niche.

The music niche is not only very broad but also very popular. There are so many ways you can go. Check out the dozen music sub niche ideas I list at the bottom of the following post. Perhaps this could spark your imagination in choosing a music sub niche that is either something you are familiar with or something you would like to explore.

Hi!

First the post. Go to Appearance then Menus. Select you post then Add to Menu. You can then drag the post on top of the page you want it in. You’ll know it’s under the right page because it’ll be indented under the page name.

Now for the affiliate links. Just following the training on how to add links. About 5 links are good. I alternate between post with and without links and this has worked well. So far all my posts are being indexed by Google. I usually do 2/1 ratio (without/with), but some do 3/1 ratio.

working through the keyword searches for niches and sorting out the exact url and name of the website. I have what looks like a good keyword but it is mostly a sentence without the prepositions. Jaaxy shows it has these values: avg - 242, traffic - 42, QSR - 0, SEQ - 97....I did a google search of these terms and the results showed the first 7 on the list had no meta description or meta keywords...the 8th showed up with a couple of each...but mostly on the first page there wasn't a website that had that information. How does that figure in with ranking. The 7th site had the words but they were arranged throughout the content and not arranged in a sentence.
I must be over complicating this process...and it is seeming to me that this set of words are too lofty for any small niche that I might be going for...the drill down, the individual person would get lost on the first page. Is that a proper assumption...
I should just make it point to something like miagraines or just splitting headaches...or nobody likes me fat...
This is challenging to not overthink everything.

English is not my first language, even tho I have a good grip of it... should I choose a niche/tribe who speak my first language (French)?

If you need help, I would be willing to read drafts and comment, no problem and, you can also use the comments thread to get feedback from other people too. I hope this helps. Bon Chance! Steve C

Bonjour, Damien,

That's actually a good question. English is not my first language either, but I feel comfortable using it. I know it's not perfect, but I try to proofread everything before posting it.

I think blogs in English have a larger audience than blogs in any other language, but that's just my opinion. Before opening my website, I had been thinking if I should do it in Spanish (my first language), but I decided to do English. I might try Spanish later on.

And don't stress over not doing both your niche and the bootcamp at the same time. It's too much to handle. Believe me. Think what is more convenient for you and pick one.

Bon courage!

Damien hi, you can absolutely apply the training in WA and create a site with your native language being the main one.

I think there's a bigger audience that speak/read English than French. I am living in Montreal, Canada and french was my first language.

Forget about the bootcamp for now. On my side I dont even pay attention to it since I think writing should be about a passion first. Of course as soon as you have the knowledge and writting skills you should try the second part of this training.

Salutations,

On a tutorial that Jay (magicstudios) has made on January, he create a new domain name based on keywords with great value and also a lot of AVG search. When I started my website/domain more than a year ago I didn't pay attention to that. Should I? Or does keywords on my title posts and content with enough to bring people to my site? I'm a bit confused now.

My analytics are not as I want them to be. less than 200 sessions/months and 125 users/months. My domain name is bad for QSR and low in avg search. :(

Any insights ? Thanks guys...

Hi - people find your website by searching for the keywords in your content, rather than by its domain name.

I took a look at your site (as mentioned on your profile page). Your first post was January 2018, so it is coming up to 2 years old, but you have less than 40 posts on it. There are gaps of up to a month between some posts, so you won't be attracting Google's attention because you are not posting on a regular basis with any consistency.

You don't need to worry about having keywords in your domain name. An example of that is "GoDaddy" -> they sell domain names but their own domain name has absolutely nothing to do with domains.. It's just a combination of 2 totally random words.

OK thanks Dale. I though it could be relevant if someone looking for ''fitness trackers'' by example (it is my niche). I need to see why i dont have enough people to go to my website. less than 200 sessions is small I think to convert $$.

If not good for you as you feel, take time find new keyword for your domain. At least and should be related niche. Find low competition in QSR. AFTER you select new keyword, you should be happy for that. Don't forget. It should be related your niche. It is Because your content should reflect your niche.

Then transfer your old domain to your new domain. But careful, don't delete your old domain at least 1 month. Let Google know, so that will not affect your rank from old domain.

Hi - unfortunately, affiliate marketing is a long term commitment. The sooner you build your website, the better, as age plays a part as to getting your site ranked in Google. You need to follow the training step by step, and you will have built your site by the end of lesson 4. Your next step is to add lots of original content to it.

If you know anybody who may be interested in this program, you could email them your personal affiliate link and earn a commission if they go premium. You can find your link in the dollar symbol at the top of the page. Go to links and tracking.

Well, I don`t know overall to suggest; except this; you could try advertising Wealthy Affiliate on other Websites; and seeing if you can make money here; and I am not sure about making money here? But, at least if you made credits that could go towards your monthly bills for Wealthy Affiliate; it would not cost so much. You should really ask Kyle and Carson about making money quickly on here. They might have some suggestions. Just put their names into the search box above separately.

If you need to make money to fund your membership, you can do that by writing articles for other people. Try UpWork. More details: To make money from your affiliate website, it's going to take at least a few weeks or months to gain tractions. There's no "quick" way, or shortcut. If there was, everyone would be doing it.

There are TONS of writing jobs out there, and they can all be done from your computer, from anywhere in the world!

There are other models. Everything has risk of course. No guarantees. And different levels of expense required.

Anyway... you do NOT need to build an authority site to make affiliate sales. Of course not. It is only one model. The benefits are ultimately you have traffic coming in on auto pilot for free from search engines.

KEEP IN MIND... NOTHING IS EASY. AND IF YOU HAVEN'T GONE THROUGH THE TRAINING HERE YET THEN YOU WON'T BE IN A POSITION TO EVEN DO THIS STUFF.

WORST THING TO DO IS SWITCH FROM THING TO THING TO THING... ALWAYS LEADS TO "FAILURE".

With that all being said... simplest way to try to make money from affiliate marketing would be to market directly from free and paid ads to affiliate products. I have done that in the past. It works okay but nothing great.

Much better is to set up a landing page that pre-sells the visitors then leads them to the affiliate offer. And you market that landing page. You can create 25 free websites here which would be perfect for that. So you could setup 10 to 20 "campaigns" like this and let them run...just single page... landing pages.

Then just leave that stuff alone basically just forget about them and get back to work on building your authority website.

If you make an occasional sale from your landing page campaigns then great. The only reason I am sharing this is that it does at least give the opportunity to make some tiny amount of money while you are busy building your niche authority website.

I am creating an online weight reduction program with an affiliate component. It will be different than anything available now. The name of the program will be "Click and Grow Thin." I've secured the .com domain name. Affiliates would be paid 50% of the enrollment fee plus 20% of any back end up-sales.

What would an affiliate want to see in the program before they felt comfortable promoting it to their tribe? This not a commitment on your part - just a hypothetical.

What would be a reasonable price to charge? My thought is ($197) to make it super affordable for most people. Others suggested the price be $497.
Any suggestions, ideas or criticism is welcomed.

I've decided my niche and my question to the pros is do I create a blog for my content and tie to my website or create the website and post all the content and video on the website? the later in my eyes keeps everything under one roof instead of the jump from blog to website and vice versa.

If you follow the WA training you will see that your "blog" and your website are essentially one in the same. The only thing you don't really want to do is have a site/blog that covers more than one niche; keep the content tight.

However, why do I feel like it seems to good to be true yet a heck of a lot to do? My mind feels like it's going to explode. Yes everyone has an affiliate program, and I mean everybody. And, there are millions of niches. I get it.
But do you mean to tell me that I'll have to register with multiple companies as an affiliate once I have my multiple niches. Then create websites for said affiliations and niches, manage all of this, and still be able to find time to eat, sleep, and live my best life?
😐Hmmm, does the premium pkg include a PA??
Or perhaps my own little platoon of minions to help me steal the moon😆...
...I mean make all of this happen???
I'm certain the training will simplify things, but at the moment I'm a lil uneasy. Especially since I really can't afford an additional bill right now.

Hi - yes, this is a legitimate program, but it does take a lot of hard work and is a long term commitment.

First of all, as a beginner, I wouldn't recommend having multiple niches. You should only have one niche on a website, and trying to add content to just that one website can be time-consuming in itself. So, in other words, just start with one niche on one website.

You can't apply to affiliate programs until you have built your website, as they will inspect it before they approve you. So, your initial focus will be on building your first website and adding content to it which relates to your chosen niche.

You can stay as a starter member for as long as you like, and are given 2 free websites.

This is all covered in the training, which you should follow step by step and not try and rush ahead.

I'm new as well and I agree there's a lot to think about. But, hey now, take a deep breath and try to slow it down! You can do these lessons one at a time and build your one website based on one niche you've picked out. And you can do that for free. Just take this one step at a time because you have to learn to walk before you can run! I'm sincerely wishing you all the best!

Is there a norm on timing to get through training?
Reply
DianeScorpio Premium
Hi - that's impossible to answer. Everyone learns at a different speed. You might understand it straight away or need to watch the videos more than once.

You might only have an hour per day to spare or 8 hours. It might take you an hour to write each post for your site or a couple of days.
Reply
steeph Premium
You’re right. It takes time! And a lot of it. But as you go through the trainings you’ll find how to manage your time so that you can run your website and also step away from it for a bit. Regarding affiliate programs, you can join affiliate networks! Those have different programs to almost every niche. All you need is one account and you will be provided wit an affiliate link to the program you’d like to join.

When you’re starting out try not to make too many websites and instead just focus on one. It’ll be a lot easier.

You don't just start earning by joining. That said, you have access to some, but not all of the training.

As for earning money, you can do that as a free Starter member. You can set up your own website and promote products and services. You can promote WA and make commissions off of your referrals when they take certain actions or upgrade to Premium.

FYI, as a free Starter member, your commissions from WA referrals is half of what it would be if you were Premium. You can get more information here:

In this video you are working with one keyword, but as for the "Home Page", up to how many keywords is accepted by the search engines? At present I got 10. Is that a total overkill or still acceptable? What is the maximum amount, you would use if you were to start on your first site?

My tech lack is showing through. Picking out a website. I get the idea that there is more to picking this out than meets my eye. I suppose you can format this about any way you want. But I am not familiar with the terms to say yeah that is it. The ones I have looked at are different but what I think I need is a multi-paged site but maybe a single page will do. Is there more training somewhere to get this sort of thing clearer?

You can do something with multiple categories, if you want to. However, just health and wellness is too broad. You need to focus on something more specific within health and wellness.

At building a website now...
my niche is down in the health and wellness section. I did a google search on health and wellness and it returned over 1 billion links.
I was wondering would it be best or good to have a website with health and/or wellness in the name...and then have a page on the website that addresses one of the components of what wellness is. that would make the website have seven pages counting the welcome page or start page...
Should I figure out the niche and just use that as the name rather that take on the whole topic. And if that works out add lower down niches in the other components over time?

I think Health and Wellness is too broad a niche now. Can you zone in? Have you a special area of H and W you can focus on ? That would be my advice.

Hi - health is one of the top three niches and is very competitive. You really need to narrow down your niche to be seen as an authority on a subject, particularly if you don't have any qualifications in that field.

The name of your website should be related to your niche but doesn't have to be an exact match. You don't need to have "health" or "wellness" in its name.

so you are going to websites - sitemanager login and login now for the user you want
then to apperance themes and click on add new
click on popular and you have about 7000 to choose from
select one and click on install
you now have that in your sites themes storage.
then you can click on activate from your installed themes (left hand menu)
this is all done in your sites dashboard.
it should only take a few seconds to download hte theme to your site and install.
be aware that what you are installing is a template for you to setup- you will need to add all of the details.
so go into appearance - customize and start going through the menu - all changes here are not made to your live site till you click on publish at the top of the left panel, but you can see the effect of the change...so if you don't like it then don't publish it.
if you are still having difficulties please shout again

Hi - no, you can't change the domain name of your website. If you are using a free site you would have to delete it and start again or use your other free website.

Everything on your website should relate to your chosen niche, otherwise you would confuse your visitors and not be seen as an authority on your subject.

This is how you import media to you site. go into your back office to post. Click on the post and it will open up so you can edit
Put your curser to the right side and click at any one of the sentences you would like to place the pic. The sentence does not need to be complete it just has to be the last word on the right side where the pic is suppose to go
then click so that the curser is blinking and leave that alone
Go top left side and click the media tab and you will get it from there

in the video about snack helmets...the google search returned Jays website: footballsnackhelmet.com. I stopped the video and did the same search. The results were the same but a little lower on the page there was this link: footballsnackhelmets.siterubix.com.
The layout was quite different. Is this Jay's site as well? there were 8 pages of helmets, videos and recipes...the navigation on the .com site was much smoother than the siterubix.com.
I was surprised to see this second site...it was dated October 9, 2017...
Perhaps this has already been discussed...I am just now reviewing these starting lessons since I was away for a very long period of time.

i suspect a copy site - someone has copied jay's site to try and cash in on his success.
just had a look and it is a very poor imitation - the more people click on it the more important it appears to google.
personally i wouldn't take the snack helmet site as one to use as a good example of what work is involved as people seem to think they can populate a site with products and people will buy
Jay found a tniy niche which his site apparently filled without muh content - but this is a very unusual case and it normally takes loads of content to have people trust you and google rank you.
but welcome back and i hope you can build on what you learned last time and make a successful business.

It occurred to me as I was watching this lesson that in other tutorials I've watched about installing Wordpress, that they advise not to use your signin as "admin", with the reasoning being it creates a security issue and invites more attempts at brute force-style hacking or something like that.

Is this different here because there is an extra layer of protection? Or is it better if we change our login credentials?

$30 per year definitely looks attractive, as I regularly buy courses at Udemy for $11 each. Not only will I be given higher commission rate (well, in the first place, other affiliate programs will only entertain those who already have certain number of visitors), I will also get to learn so many courses.

Thing is, I have some experience in coding front end websites from scratch. My father's company website used to be under WordPress and I recoded everything. His website speed increased by at least two ranks in GTmetrix.

I am going to rebuild my own website under his web hosting account, so I don't have to pay for web hosting. Before subscribing, I have one question. Even if my website is not Wordpress based, can I still post links there and earn money?

Where you host is your choice Kelvin. I would highly recommend premium here at WA because there are so many benefits and you can also pick up to 25 sites hosted if you want that many. Good luck & always ask if you need support :-) Steve C

I am slowing moving to backend web development. My web application is in testing phase. It scans documents, but runs in a web browser. Initially I thought of PPC ads to show up on the sides as users scan, but now I want to do affiliate marketing.

Instead of posting blog posts to promote, can I just show infographics or even interactive games to promote my affiliate products on the sides? I wouldn't want to fit chunks of text next to my web application. The space is big, but not big enough to make blog posts or articles look nice.

Or must I use written blog posts to promote affiliate links?

Hi Kelvin, I guess much depends on your niche. I can see info graphics and interactive games working for some niches so it's worth trailing your ideas. The question you should ask yourself is; are my visitors getting value from what I offer? If that's a "yes" you may be on to a winning formula. It's your business so you can always try something new as you develop. I use posts because they fit my niche and I weave ads, infographics and reviews into them. S

Hi.
I just joined wealthy affiliate.
1. Can I create my own websites with my own domain here on wealthy affiliate?
2. Do you have a marketplace of affiliate products which we can promote as affiliate? (just like clickbank has)
3. Can I host my own products as a vendor and other wealthy affiliates for other affiliates to sell?

Well. Finished lesson 3, I find the lessons are interesting and they move right along. They don't use filler, like giving us the history of computers, Affiliate Marketing, the life of Steve Jobs, etc. They get right to the meat of the subject. I appreciate that.
It's not that I don't find the above subjects interesting but it is not necessary to the core subject of how to make money on-line.
Thanks guys! The Lessons get right to the point and are very informative.

I agree. Fillers are boring and it makes the topic less interesting, which results in people being discouraged and it is not a good thing.

This thing keeps circling back to the beginning of each lesson and stating I haven't done the lesson. Did lesson 1 three times then gave up. I am now on lesson 3 and it still says I haven't done 1 and 2. Not the end of the world but I would like to look as though I am doing something with this.

Hi - are you ticking off the boxes at the end of each lesson after you have done the tasks?

Hi, I believe you just have to let the video run without clicking on anything. For me, the videos just kept playing until the end.

When I chose this web site, there was a picture of a plant in a bubble, for in door gardening, when I use the search bar, it has no info, so I guess I need to do some customizing, to get my web site looking like it's about gardening, so I need help in that area.
Thank you,Marlene

Approximately how long from signing on to Premium will it take to have the site up and running, attracting traffic, and seeing conversions?
Also does WA charge a fee for registering a .com Domain name, if so how much?
Thank-you, I will make a decision re upgrading to Premium shortly.

Hi, the first part of your question is easy. If you follow the training as it's presented, you will have your site up and running very quickly and may even notice that you will be indexed by Google.
Kyle presents a great training about registering a domain with WA and it is very cheap to do so. You can watch the video here . . . I would highly recommend premium, it really is a great way to get started and boost your business. Support from WA and the community really is outstanding.
By being indexed by Google you will start to attract traffic and the more you post, the higher Google (and others) will begin to trust your site which ultimately leads to more traffic. Conversions are harder to predict. On one of my posts, I had 13 click throughs to an affiliate link within a few hours. There are a number of factors and many are discussed in various WA trainings. It is a process that if followed consistently, will return results.
I hope this helps. Good luck, Steve C

I am new to affiliate marketing. I'm tired of working rotating shifts, weekends, public holidays, because I feel that I'm missing out on so much with my family. Working 17 years for someone else, I feel it is time to step up. I would like to build something for my future and enjoy life.

Hi folks, I am from South Africa and just wanted to know if this is really as successful as it shows on the introductions?? I have heard of numerous online entrepreneurial offers, but have always been very skeptic to try it out. Any HONEST feedback would be really appreciated. Regards.

Hi - yes, this is a legitimate program which teaches you how to build a website for affiliate marketing. However, it is not a get rich quick scheme and takes months of hard work, constant activity and determination. You are unlikely to see any income for at least 3 months, and more realistically 6 months.

All of this may seem a little scary at first but you have to get the ball rolling. You have to get started going down the right path and I believe this is it. When you begin making money is actually 100% up to your efforts. Another determining factor when it comes to making money is time, how much time are you willing to put in to get faster results. Hope that helps, I wish you success in your journey.

I have been here for a month now and so far, I haven’t earned any revenue but I have gained a lot of knowledge regarding of my website. You can see a lot of successful stories on this platform as well just to make sure. I was skeptical at first too but decided to give it a go. I have no regrets thus far. It’s an amazing learning experience. You just need patience and time. You won’t start seeing money until you have content up and traffic going into your site.

Hi there SapDop from another new South African, we’ll stay in touch & see how it goes. I’m not expecting much in the first few months but am willing to give it as good a go as the Boks on Saturday ! Good luck for both.

Okay... My niche isn't for everybody and some may not understand it. So I'm just going to go ahead and jump right into it. Clairxognizant intuitive. I dont like the word psychic because that's not what I am. If anyone has any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I just don't know how many people will be willing to give me a shot...

Clairxognizant intuitive.... what exactly will the site offer? e.g. is it a online service or will your site provide information about people who have Clairxognizant abilities?

hi guys i just want to ask what is the different of clicks raw and clicks unique in the stat board is that number of clicks would change into referrals in a days? and also the network work on my tab the increasing number everyday what is all about? i just want to know if the clicks and number of network was the result of my posting of the link of the company.. please answer me
Reply
YumaBloggers Premium
Raw clicks are the total number of people who visited through your link. Unique clicks are the number of first-time visitors through the link. If a person is here for the second time they will count as a raw click but not as a unique click.

oh thank you very much for that information
what about the number of network what is all about is this the one who sign in to my link

Okay! folks, I need some ideas - more like narrowing things down - I think. These are my passions:

1. Horses - I own a living quarter camper and my favorite life is in a campground complete with hubby, horses, dog...

2. I am a forensic nurse and I am VERY passionate about caring for sexual assault victims and domestic violence victims. I know seems morbid - that's why I do horses...

3. I am mother who lost my son to suicide - I know - again with the morbid. I have been in online groups that would depress Jesus himself. I have a passion to tell parents that you can survive this and even be happy again. Thus I was asked to leave a few sites. Oops! I want to give out hope. But I NEED to make money so I can quit my J-O-B and be with my horses on the road!

I guess I thought your site would be more blogging with stuff for sale but when I watched the video, I didn't get that? Did I miss something. Okay, I am on to the next lesson!

Well you seam very passionate about horses so I would say to do a niche in that. I am sure you can find a affiliate program that sells saddles and horse equipment. That stuff is not cheap

Nursing is such a beautiful profession and the fact that you help survivors it’s fantastic. That was my main goal when studying to become a social worker, help survivors of SA and DV. You can create a lot of helpful content from there and you can also mix that a little bit with comfort towards people who have lost a loved one. But again, you love horses so that also may be a good niche idea. My advice, look something that you can make lots of content about and not get stuck not knowing what to write about. My niche is mentally health and if we think about it, all of your passions can be somehow incorporated into that niche as well.
