So you've come to the end of your first 7 days being part of WA on the starter membership but you're not quite ready to sign up for premium membership.

Hey that's fine. You have to do what's right for you. But the one question you probably have is "What do I do next?"

Well in this short tutorial - I will cover the areas that I think you need to focus on until you're ready to sign up and enjoy the training, support, discussions, and additional resources available to premium members

  1. What's stopping you signing to Premium Membership?
  2. Where are you now?
  3. Content is king
  4. Learning to be your own editor and critic
  5. Be realistic
  6. Make a decision

I'm starting a new job in 2 days so most likely this week or 2 I'll be upgrading to premium . Love the value and contents being given here . I promote clickbank products via my WordPress website , been able to get a limited number of traffic to my website but still no conversion I believe what I need to produce conversions is in the premium training so I need to upgrade asap .

Good day! Talking about this premium thing. If I'm going to pay $19 to upgrade my account. Is that good for the whole year? I mean do I have to pay $19 a month?
Reply
Dmorrow Premium
That is for the first month of premium. After that, it will be $49 per month unless you go yearly which, last I checked, was $359. On Black Friday there is usually a sale on yearly membership of $299 or so. Remember, if you do go premium you will not be able to return to the free membership. Also, when your free trial ends, you will not have access to classes and chat and many other great amenities if you do not go premium. You can stay on as a free member, you just won't have a lot of help building out your site and getting questions answered. Hope that helps.

Blessings,
Debby

Hiya - thanks for this info - very useful to pass onto others so have book marked your whole lesson.

My wife used the FREE WA membership system for 2 years as it gave her everything she needed to know but at a much slower pace. She successfully sells products now as an Amazon Associate & directly via her own eCommerce store which she accidentally learned how to do here at WA.

I can't help thinking perhaps some new members get flustered and feel pressured by the premium membership promos both onscreen & on chat.

This is a great guide for them so thanks again.

All the best -Andre

Great advice! Even the responses below should be very helpful for anyone not ready for Premium yet.
All I wish to add is a suggestion based on my own experience.
How about saving $299.00 USD to catch the current Black Friday special price, while applying the ideas in this article?
This is more or less what I did, although I did not read this before, but, cutting the monthly cost to about $25 and securing my next year of learning how to succeed made sense to me.
The potential is great and determination is key!

Hi Megan,

Have you read all the training here above with some advice for what you can do next?

You can keep being a free starter member as long as you like and have access to your site rubix site. So you can keep building you website with content from the knowledge you can get from the first 10 lesson that are available with the free membership.
Also there are still several trainings available from members that you will have access to.

It is of course not the same opportunities and not the same support as with a premium membership. But if you cannot afford it now, you do not have to stop building an online business even though you cannot afford the premium.

Personally I just upgraded about 3 mionths ago. I upgraded to the yearly membership as I calculated that it is then less than a dollar a day. It is a lot of money to pay out at once, but I figured that I somehow will be able to make at least 1 dollar a day to spend on this membership, so then it was a matter of finding the initial investment and then it would also give me time to succeed that I did not have to worry about finding the money every month. Know that might not be possible, but just sharing my approach.

No matter what, I wish you all the best.

Mikael

Hello Megan,

First of all, I presume you have gone through course 1 and the above lessons which give a lot of motivation and a base to start. In the world of online money making one has two assets. That is time, money or both. For success, If you have money you can probably get there with less time and if you have time you can start without money. You should really appreciate that WA has given an opportunity to everyone irrespective of what they have where they are willing to host two FREE websites besides giving a course to start.

People have a misconception that internet money making can be done without hard work & commitment just because they can do it at home compared to real world businesses. I hope you're not one of them. There is no shortcut to success and that is also the beauty about it, since it is earned and there is fulfillment & pride behind it.

Make sure if you take this path, that you will not quit until you see the results you want and make use of all the free resources available here at WA. From the first free course you would have learned that in essence, this is about finding competitive keywords (to get Google rankings and traffic), creating engaging fresh content and then using all the monetizing methods to leverage on traffic. Read this blog if you haven't gone through it yet: Let me know if I can be of any help and wishing you all the success!

If I start off by building a FREE website here on WA using the domain (example. site .rubix. com) without first purchasing the domain that I want, even though i know that domain is available, do i run the risk of losing that domain name to another potential buyer?

I'm still in my first day of joining and I'm already thinking that I should definitely be premium before the week ends. That is my set deadline. So the free membership is not really beneficial? Its really a little "bribe"/temptation" for us to upgrade? Its difficult especially when u dont have any money... to invest.. I am having exactly the same feeling towards the free membership and the real purpose of it. Everything seems to be about "oh is way too hard if you stay free. You will always have 2 FREE wesites with SiteRubix extensions. If you want to purchase your own domain, you can and because your hosting is FREE, you can move your website here. I completely understand where you are coming from! If you knew my situation you would sit back and wonder how on earth I do it! I haven't worked in well over a year. I stay home and care for my dearest wife. She has always been my foundation and now I must be hers. Don't even ask me how I do it, but I manage to put some money aside from a meager income.

All we have is my wife's social security and a very small positive cash flow from real estate note. I thought I was lucky to have been able to do the real estate deals until my wife lost extra help from her benefits because of it. Now we pay more for her medications and also have more taken out of her SS to pay premiums. And STILL I am able to stash a little money aside for emergencies.

But I absolutely MUST find a way to make money from home! I can't wait until the next doable real estate deal comes along. I have so many obstacles in my way, but I WILL overcome them PERIOD! I have to! From MONTHS of searching the internet this site is my best chance of making something happen. I KNOW all the tools are here! I CAN'T WAIT until I go premium! Simply because of the extra information available to premium members.

You may wonder or even ask why I don't just go premium instead of waiting. The reason is I want to make the most of the time I can garner knowledge from this site for free. Get as far as I can before I start paying for the extra information and assistance.

I absolutely WILL make this happen! AND I absolutely WILL continue my real estate investing ventures. My only problem there is lack of funds and not knowing private investors who would fund my deals. I could pick up 11 rental houses for less than $300k tomorrow if I only had the funding. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. But I'm not letting any of that stop me! I am determined to make this work! With or without help!
Reply
maple1985 Premium
So what do you do if you have nothing to cut out, hell I could cut out my internet, but that would be pointless if I had no internet; then I couldn't even purchase the premium membership. lol. I definetely intend on doing so, which is why I'm working on developing my site further so I can start getting the traffic and will be putting in with others so their products can be featured on my site, its the only thing I can do, the premium stuff after all that is just going to be awesome perks.
Reply
BigDubbayew Premium
There is always something you could cut back on. Even as frugally as my wife and I live, we could still cut back on some things.

But even as tough as we have it I realize there are people out there who have it tougher and I truly wish I could do something about that. Especially for families with children.

But we all have to deal with our own situations the best we can. No matter how bad your situation is there will always tend to be someone who is worse off.

Until you reach the bottom of the chain and please take pity on that poor soul... and all the ones between you and him/her.

Try not to focus so much on your troubles, but count your blessings. Once you start doing this, you will find you have much to be thankful for.

Look at me... I'm still here 3 months later! That's over $100 that I really can't afford to spend. But then again, can I really afford not to spend it?

If I could find a resource nearly as good as WA for less money or better yet free, I would be there in a heart beat! And still there would be the matter of webhosting. So pretty hard to beat what I got here.

To bad Jaaxy isn't offered at a much reduced price over what someone off the streets pays for it! What's up with that fellas? -RDub

Would you say that for right now I should be building my blog on my main page and editing and perfecting the pages I currently have until I'm ready for my big expansion? Do people generally start to see any kind of beginning traffic doing this? I'm sorry that you feel insecure. You say that you don't know what you are going to have to do - but have you started the training? Are you reading what it says, taking action and completing each task. Some of the questions your are asking will be answered if you do that.

People are always more likely to help if you start reading and then ask specific questions about issues that you have encountered.

There are a lot of us around who will help but we can't do it for you. Follow each lesson 1 - 10 and when you don't understand or unable to do something, try the search bar at the top to find information or do as you have done here and ask questions

Hi Grace
The best way to go is from the beginning. Go through the course building a site that you are interested in, as you go and you will find that you will gain confidence as you go. Your insecurities will go as you see a new website grow and it becomes yours. Ask loads of questions as you go.It takes time but work hard and it will happen.
Don't be scared to make mistakes and just do it.
There's people here to support you.

As a free member you can have two completely free websites on siterubix . Going through the course you will learn how to build a website. Don't be afraid of making mistakes because that is one of the ways that we all learn. As another has said, take baby steps. The more you do the more you will learn and the more your confidence will build right along with it. Take your time going through the course so that you understand what is being taught. If you just read and don't do the steps then you cannot understand. Just take action and you will amaze yourself at what you yourself can do.

Hello Grace, I want you to know that we are all dealing with insecurities. Every single one of us has asked that question "can I do this?" There are various degrees of insecurity and fear of failure. My advice is - try NOT TO FOCUS ON THAT. Try to change your thinking and say " ok, this may be overwhelming, but what little step can I take today?" And then take that step. And if you ask and don't get the answer, ASK AND ASK AGAIN. That is the only way. Hope this helps! Warm regards, and I won't say good luck because we make our own luck : )

This is where you will learn about driving traffic to your website as well as building it and blogging etc. Pay attention to the instructions, watch the videos, DO THE TASKS set forth for you. Beverley I was a started member (free) and I too had to go through lot of questions like what you mentioned at the beginning of this fine article -

I really like that you incorporated much of what Kyle posted in his recent training on how to make an article stand out without links appearing as links - good work!

Also it is very well thought out and you make a strong case for premium membership!

Coming back to me ..... yeah, I too was not sure but then I came to one conclusion that shifted in favour of going premium..... I just did not want to be on the outside anymore...

i.e. most of my life I never knew about trends, marketing, internet as a tool to use, heck.... I never even knew such a thing like affiliates existed.... but going through the basic information, the tutorials and many, many of Kyle's videos and teachings I said this is just a small insight into a bigger world ..... on the inside.....

So I managed to get some funds together.... and voila.... premium ..... and bam!..... next thing I know I get access to unlimited resources; unlimited chats from other premuim members all loaded with hot tips, trainings, casual discussions and tonnes of constructive encouragement, community bonding and the like.

It was as if I could reach out to anyone and it was amazing.... for the first time I was on the inside.... I could see everything....... well almost ..... but things started falling into place.... I tested my own two blogs .... to practice the basic fundamentals and was happy with the results...

Currently I am refining my niche ..... doing hell lot of research with all the tips I picked up from Steve (Ivetriedthat) and also from other members' blogs .... what ever I learned so far you can read in my last blog here on this WA site under my profile....

Sorry I guess I used up your message here to send across some pointers.... but still there is nothing as enough pointers.... I say the more, the better .... knowledge is power and knowledge gained from others' insights and findings is double edged.... get to learn from their mistakes and you save yourself some grief by avoiding the same!

Anyways am gonna stop now.... oh btw.... did I mention this WA site is also about having fun? Even before you become premium Kyle encourages everyone to have fun at whatever you do.... that is one of the main factors why people succeed in their goals

They just enjoy what they do!

Great tutorial Beverley. $47 seems cheaper when you call it £30 a month, as we in the UK do. Just £1 a day for unparalleled marketing advice and a community which seems to want your success as much as you do. I'll echo Beverley's advice - if you can afford it and you're serious then do it. If you can't afford it then all the help you need is here for free to get you to the place where you can.

Thanks Paul. I just wanted to try and plug the gap for anyone who isn't quite ready but just needs some help to keep going. There's so much you could explain but it's not easy when you have to work alone.

Excellent topic again. I echo someone's comment below that this should be required reading on Day 8. And, as you noted, each makes the jump when they are ready. I rearranged some personal finances when I started because WA became a priority...right after family, home, bills, food...WA! Thanks Beverley, great job.

It's not easy for people to make that leap that's why I wanted to give them a little help until they do.

This post will make my life a lot easier. So many people want to learn, but do not want to sign up for premium. I think you did a great job outlining the benefits, but also including some direction for those people that simply do not have the option (or refuse it) to pay for a WA membership. Thanks for taking the time to do this.

Thanks Nate, kind of you to say so. I can understand why some people are reluctant but it take a big effort to try and do it by yourself.

This is a fantastic resource Beverley. This does help with the inner conversation going on when making a decision going premium or not. Should be a must read for all free members on day 8.

Yep for sure this has been a great help to me, as day 8 is coming up quickly, and I'm not going to be able to go premium, like I thought at first!
Thank you!

I stayed as a free starter member for a full month back in August just to see how far I could go for free. Sure I already had my first website up and running for free and was starting content for my second website. But then I wanted my own domain names and more importantly I was hungry for more knowledge so I went premium at the start of September. Now I have 2 more domain names and have started both websites. I'm going to take these a little slower as I will be building them both at the same time as I write content and source images for them. - I couldn't do all of this if I was still a starter member.

No you couldn't easily have achieved what you have done with the starter membership. But as you have demonstrated everyone has to make the jump when they're ready. Wishing you continued success.

Thanks for taking the time to omment.
