When I first got my little pea brain around the whole concept of making some money from my computer, there were two definite things I wanted to accomplish with my first efforts.
1) I wanted to start making money - and GETTING that money - as soon as possible.
2) I wanted to create things online that would continue to bring money in each month long after I was done working on them.
Basically, I wanted to have a little cash in hand as soon as I could get it and I also wanted to know that for years to come, there would be a certain amount of money coming to me each month that I could count on. THAT money would become my "seed money" that I would use to grow my online business.
While I am a huge fan of free online marketing tools and strategies (like Squidoo and article marketing), it didn't take me long to realize that the true power and potential for internet earnings would come from owning my own sites. However, in order to own my own websites, I would need... MONEY. I would need money for a hosting account, I would need money to buy domain names, I would need money for an auto-responder to build my lists... and I WANTED money for some cool tools that make my life SO much easier.
So, my dilemma was -
What Can I Do NOW That Will Keep Making Me Money Online Month After Month?

Thank you so much for your informative, concise and specific article breaking goals down to specific tasks and how to complete them. I have learned more from your 4 part article than I have the past 2 weeks I've been trying to learn and understand this business! I paid $50 for two books promising to teach me how to profit from affiliates through social media sites. I have literally read half of the first book and still have no idea how to do what this man has done so successfully because he has only thrown out numbers, statistics and percentages at me to convince me that I could be very successful in this business but not a word yet about what specifically I need to do to get there! The $50 I paid for the books did not include assistance setting up the ads. That was a $199.00 upsell I could not afford! He said I would be paid by generating traffic to affiliates site every time they made a sale from my lead. However, when I downloaded the "free" ad submitting tool I discovered that I would be paying per click for traffic sent to me!! As a matter of fact, every "free" thing he offered would've cost me money - a lot of money This was confusing and seemed counter productive to me. He explained that I could bid whatever I wanted to pay per click for traffic to be sent to my ad but they recommended 40 - 80 cents bc if I only agreed to 15 cents I'd be low priority under the high 40 - 80 cent payors. But why would I pay for traffic to get paid if I generate a sale? Doesn't seem like it would be very profitable though it never mentioned what I would be paid. Anyway, love your teaching style! I'm following you and am interested in reading anything you write and anything you have written!
