Create a membership account.
This is the premiere article submission site and will be your flagship site for your articles, although you will use others occasionally when the need arises. After you go through the joining process and are accepted you will be able to log on to the Author's Area and submit your first article!

Here is were you submit and all the fields required. Very easy to do and fun to boot!
Pay attention to the Author SIG - Resource Box . Be sure have a headline with a call to action and the proper HTML code for your way cool domain link. Here is the HTML code: Edit URL and Anchor Text (in red) as necessary.
You can preview your article before you submit. If you don't like what you see you can edit it when you close "article preview", or if it is good you will be able to "submit" after closing.
After you submit your first article it takes about 5- 7 working days to get approved, so while you are waiting, write some more articles!
Once it is live it takes another 3 to 5 days to be indexed by Google. If you Google in "quotes" the title of your article it should be on the first page of results or at least the second. If you don't see it, it hasn't been indexed yet.
If it is there, Google it again without "quotes" to see its true position in Google. If it is on the first page or even the second it is party time! If not don't worry because we are going to kick it to the top and keep it there with what we are going to do next.
KLRrider Tip: As of April 2010 eZine will not accept direct linking in articles so it is best to use a different article submission site. There are many competitors out there that accept direct linking so this technique still works for them. In the next few weeks I will update the graphics and instructions in this resource to reflect a different article site.
At the time of creating this tutorial this article example was declined by eZine as "to promotional" and recently it has become very tough to optimize an article for "Wealthy Affiliate" or "buy" and get approval from them. Only in product comparisons is it even possible for approval. "But I see other articles on eZine with "Wealthy Affiliate" in them" you might say. Sorry but they are "Grandfathered in"... accepted when the rules were more lenient. I did an "end around" and submitted toAmazines instead! A great back up article site for those tougher approvals!

All Newbies, including myself even now, try to consume all this information as fast as possible and are unable to actually digest everything completely.
Slow down and take your time. Be patient and make steady progress each day. While waiting for articles to be approved don't pace the floor, rather do something constructive.
And by all means keep up with the study program here at WA.
