In this tutorial I'll be sharing my personal Blueprint to go up in Google and Bing Rankings. This Blueprint comes from numerous Videos, Blog Posts, and Tutorials from WA as well as other sources.
It is the Blueprint I follow for every one of my posts and it has helped me move up in rankings on search engines. It is long but it will help you out. My suggestion is to take it slow work your post parallel to the steps. Favorite it on WA (the star symbol in the search bar) so that you can come back and continue from where you left off.
This tutorial will be the entire process plus the extra step of using AMP for WP. Later on I will do the same tutorial but without this part as to not confuse you.
It will be my first tutorial so I hope it is to your liking. Any recommendations you may have for this (and future) tutorials please let me know.
This are my steps on the process I go through for each post. I will write detailed tutorials for each step later on.
Well then let's get started!
I went on a little research spree today to find out a bit more about Image optimization plugins.
I found some good stuff on the internet, here are two of the things that stood out (due to their dates).

He compares these plugins and others to see which are best for your website). In this video, Smush proves to be better for image compression which gets a faster page speed on your readers' end.

In this post, Teddy recommends another plugin 'SEO Friendly Images WordPress Plugin' but mentions Smush and Ewwww Image Optimizer as equals.
I know there are many plugins for this and that we get EWWW Image Opt installed but, unless WA hosting does have a conflict with other plugins except for this one, I would say that you are fine with either of them.
I personally like Smush because it has always worked for me and hasn't caused me any problems.
All I'd say that you should use the right one for you, but the important thing is that you use one. Image optimization is a must when using images in your content.
All the best,
Luis
