Prior to improving your Domain Authority, you must try and figure out what components influence your Domain Authority (DA) score. Of course prior to finding out what affects your DA score, you must figure out what your website’s Domain Authority currently is.
Moz, the creator of Domain Authority creates a free online tool known as Open Site Explorer which site owners can leverage to check their Domain Authority.
Now let’s visit the tool: moz.com/researchtools/ose. You’ll notice a search bar in the very middle of the page
Press the Search button and you'll get the results below for your site Domain Authority score.
Once you've entered your website URL and hit the Search button, you'll find your DA score below the "Domain Authority" title.

Sorry about the difficulty faced in trying to create your Moz account, though it baffles me a lot why this is happening to almost everybody that has tried to create an account in the last few hours, j52powell! I'll investigate this issue for you. I didn't actually experience this difficulty when I created my own account.

You never can improve your website Domain Authority (DA) without building high-quality links and Quora is one of the most working strategies for achieving that.

My website has a score of 19. The only source of external linking domains is the comments I left on WA members sites. Since then I stopped adding my domain to the comments. Some sites remove it later and the removal probably looks bad for DA.
In addition, these are mostly sites unrelated to my niche.
I think I should have some links on Quora, but I don't see it in the report.

Your domain authority score can only rise if you can start building links along with creating content every day, otherwise, it takes years to get there really, sister.
