I can tell you so far I'm not making piles of money and I'm finding their advertisers/products a little difficult to work with.

There are a lot of surveys and I am not really interested in promoting surveys. The clients I am interested in promoting, such as Airbnb, require pre-approval and are very exclusive.

So I pick and choose which ones I want to work with, but I see pros and cons.

Pro:

Maxbounty is very easy to use and understand. Other Affiliates are more difficult to work with and have more rules to follow. MB is straightforward and rules are easy to remember and tend to be just the basic ones, easy to remember. You don't have to follow pages. There are many advertisers to choose from.

Con:

The pre-approved advertisers tend to be surveys and free products. These are a little difficult to promote because they don't align with a niche and just junk up a website. The advertisers I would really like to work with require that you apply to them and come back denied. At least mine did with very little explanation.

I still think they are worth giving a try because they are fairly easy to join and very easy to work with. You can also earn PPC and PPA.
