Completing the application may seem routine but it is not. Maxbounty reads a lot about you and your commitment when you complete this application - be thoughtful with your responses.

I will bring a few tricky responses to your attention:

When Can You Be Reached: be careful with this one. This is the time Maxbounty will call you for your phone interview. You will want to be available for your call.

How Did You Hear About Maxbounty: MB has left this as an open ended question - tricky! I would encourage you to be professional and complete in your response. Can you imagine how many "A Friend"s Maxbounty gets. This tells them only that you want some quick cash. Think about answering with "mentor, web developer, marketer...who also works... and has had...etc." You get the idea!

What is your Experience: Once again, be honest but don't undercut yourself. There are four choices here. The top two choices will likely get you denied because Maxbounty wants experience. This is okay because there are other Affiliates that will accept you and you can come back to MB.

The second two choices are "some experience" and "extremely experienced". If you have done some work with Facebook campaigns and worked with Affiliates like Clickband or CJ, I would lump that into "some" and select that option.

Describe Your Past Experience In Affiliate Marketing: This is a free text box where you describe what you have done in Affiliate Marketing. Only being able to describe Facebook campaigns may get you denied. Here MB will want to see a few key words that shows you have the "right" experience, such as Facebook campaigns that promote pay-per-click (PPC) and pay-per-view (PPV) ads, and/or experience working with networks like CJ Affiliates and Clickbank. If you work with any of the companies MB represents be sure to mention them here, that will further your credibility. Most importantly Maxbounty is looking to see that you understand the Affiliate Marketing industry.

How Do You Intend to Promote Offers: This is typically straight forward. Answering "I intend to promote offers through PPC and PPV Facebook ads." Some of these will vary depending on the advertiser.

What Offers Are You Intending to Promote: Choose these directly from the categories from MB website. This shows that you are interested in the companies they are promoting.

Incentive Traffic: Answer NO

Click NEXT and AGREE to the Terms of Service. Congratulations!

That's all there is to it! Now you wait for your email saying you have "hopefully" been accepted to Maxbounty. I believe if you follow my training and you have experience with Affiliate Marketing, your application will be accepted. Please be honest.

If you are just "Dipping Your Toe In the Water" of Affiliate Marketing, I would probably recommend a different one first. Maybe Clickbank!

Remember the next step is the Phone Interview.

Hi Frenchfries5,
I just got approved with MaxBounty. Yahooooo!! I have zero experience in cpa marketing. However, I did do my research. I read the terms and conditions word for word. And repeated it back to him on the phone interview. I wrote down my responses to the anticipated questions. I had a clear plan of action and spoke with confidence. Oh, and I did not wait for them to call me. I called him the next day (Canadian time). They want to know that you are not only interested but eager to work with them. They are at the top of their game. They will not call you. Also you need to have a clear and concise marketing plan. If you say that you are planning to initiate a pay per click campaign with bing or Adsense and follow up with an opt-in auto responder/drip campaign you should be fine.

My question to you is do you know of a MaxBounty tutorial or video where I can learn the basics?

Thank you

That's great. I am happy you are getting started. I have found a few advertisers with MaxBounty but with my B&B niche, I haven't found a lot of campaigns I can use. I really don't know of any specific training. You might want to check YouTube and see if you can locate a video. I have found some good training that way. So far I have had better luck with SharASale and CJ. When all else fails and I need something quick I grab an ad off of Amazon. :)
Happy marketeering....

Hi French, I just got approved by Maxbounty recently. It was a pretty easy process. I have a website that isn't getting a bunch of traffic yet but I got approved anyway. The do have a phone interview with affiliate manager that you have to complete which was actually pretty cool. They have some good campaigns. I will be partnering with them on some. Great Post!

It takes a lot for someone to post about their knowledge and experience so HATS OFF to you.
