Hi, and welcome to another edition of Shawn's Tutorials!

Today we are going to walk through making a sticky post.

Before we start let me explain what a sticky post is.

When people refer to sticky post they are talking about the first post on your blog roll and unless you assign one to that spot the latest post will always be displayed there.

In some instances, you may want the same post there for a set period of time due to a promotion or giveaway.

For example many people doing the Bootcamp training like to have their WA review post a sticky post.

Or maybe you are running some kind of a special and you want people to see a particular post first.

So, how do we do that?

Well lets take a quick walk through!

Well, you're my new buddy now Shawn!

Your training was straight forward and easy to follow.

I do have a question: How does this differ from just arranging pages in the menu?

Also, one of your comments to me was to add feature images on the blog roll page. You did training on that as well?

I think I did, let me look and I will find you a link.

It differs as every time you add a new post it becomes part of the blog roll and thus ends up on top until another is posted. Using the sticky feature is for when you want a specific post to always show up at thew top of your blog roll, make sense?
