So you have a affiliate url that may look like this (sorry had to take the http:// so it doesn't post as affiliate link) latteguy15.paidetc.hop.clickbank.net/ but you don't want it to be a obvious affiliate link and you need to know how to cloak the link. Do the following
1) Login to WA
2) At the top you will see like a little gold coin that says "my-linker" open this up. This is your free link cloaking tool that is provided through your membership here at WA.
3) This will open your dashboard where you will be able to monitor clicks on your cloaked links
4) Up at the top where it says Dashboard -> Campaign Summary Click on Campaign Summary
5) Click create new campaign
6) Name your new campaign and your google ID if necessary. If you don't know you google ID but want to use it click that little question mark and it will tell you how to obtain your google ID
7) So for the example above we wanted to take latteguy15.paidetc.hop.clickbank.net/ and turn it into a cloaked link so I would since I would be promoting a paid survey site cause thats what that link is I would probably enter something like paidsurveyetc where it says "campaign" and enter your google conversion Id if you have it ( if you don't have it right now thats ok you can get it latter just leave this blank it will still work)
Click Save and this will be added to your campaigns and you will see it on your list of campaigns when the screen refreshes
9) Now we need to insert our affiliate link so Click on your campaign and this will bring you to the link summary page for that campaign
10) Click " Create New Link"
11) This will bring you to the add link page.
12) Where it says link name put a appropriate name. For this example I would put something like PAIDSURVEY.
(Hint you can really tell where you traffic is coming from by this step so If i placed a ad on a classified site I might put PAIDSURVEYUSFREEAD or something that would tell me where this click was coming from)
13) Insert your affiliate link that you obtained from clickbank for the product that you are promoting where it says " URL TO TRACK" so for the example we are using I would put
http://latteguy15.paidetc.hop.clickbank.net/
14) These are normally the only two things that I put in but as you can see there is a whole lot of information that you could enter if you have it.
15) Click Save Changes
16) It will bring you to your link summary again and you will see your new cloaked link that looks like this:
http://www.my-linker.com/hop/paidsurveyUSFREEADS
17) To make sure you did everything right pop that url into your browser to ensure that it redirects you to the product you are promoting.
