Longtail or Low-hanging Fruit Keywords.

What are "Long-tail" or "Low-hanging" fruit keywords? Longtail Keywords are keywords with 3 or more letters. Here is an example using the keyword "Wealthy Affiliate Sign up". As you can see, this is a "Long-tail Keyword" and it's low hanging because of the following results:

Wealthy Affiliate Sign Up is a good Keyword for the following reasons:

  1. The monthly searches are <10 (less than10, this could have been higher).
  2. The traffic is <10 also. (look for 50 as a minimum for both).*
  3. The QSR (Quoted Search Result)=72 (this is very low competition).
  4. The KQI (keyword quality indicator) is green, this indicates this is a good Keyword to use.
  5. SEO (this is a score based on traffic and competition, the higher this score is, the better.

Note: Jaaxy results for this Keyword as a Good Keyword. But you should try to get monthly searches and traffic results for 50 or more.

The main purpose of this training is to show you what Google need for your content to get a good ranking page position. You may not get on page one, but as long as you follow all the steps required by Google, you'll get a better page position.

Great training and awesome tutorial for beginners :)

I have been reading a lot of opposite opinions on the use of meta description recently. Apparently the use of meta descriptions is outdated...

I am doing it exactly the way you are showing here but I read that you shouldn't use meta descriptions and leave everything blank as long as you are using the keyword in the title, first paragraph, middle and end.

Now I can't remember who was writing about this but it was a well known ambassador . I think it was Jay but not sure and I've seen it some other times.

A bit confusing though, would be nice to get some feedback on this.

Hello, AngelBcn. I got this from training received from Jay's Webinar. If you need more feedback, please watch Jay's Webinar on this subject. Thank you.

Great clear layout of these facts.
Question, is it really worth going after <10 searches per month?
Reply
pas1745 Premium
Pisquali, you may still get a keyword with <10 as good. Try to find a keyword with MS and Traffic with a minimum of 50 to 100 instead of <10. I added this to my training. Take care, Pisquali.

Hi Prince,
This information you give is wrong. When you have a monthly search less than 10 means that less than 10 people are searching with this keyword. It could be 0. It also means that you will not be getting customers with this keyword and you don't want to use it.

So the question we all should be asking is why JAAXY gives it a GREEN dot.? - YES I agree the search count is too low and I would not try to rank for that keyword.

I feel Jaaxy should also warn us.

Hello, MisterWailor. Look at the KQI, if it's green, you can use this keyword. I am on 1st. page and position 1 from Jaaxy's results for this Keyword. I have received good ranking with <10 results. Do you have Jaaxy?
Did you see the Screen Shot on page 14 showing my page ranking for this Keyword with <10 results? Shouldn't this prove that I wasn't wrong? Take care.

MisterWailor is right Prince. With less than 10 people searching (possibly no-one) for this phrase there's no point to being on page 1 if no-one is going to find you there. I used an incognito window to search in Google and you're not on the first page.

The other odd thing is that, if there is so low traffic, why do we have 72 sites competing to rank for it?
Reply
pas1745 Premium
I agree, MasterEd.

pas1745 Premium
According to Jaaxy, this is where I got my site rank. Is Jaaxy wrong? Take care.

Why does Jaaxy give it a green for it's okay?

A question for Kyle or Carson. Can't answer it, but maybe the creators can.

pas1745 Premium
I want consider it wrong until I am told that Jaaxy is wrong. I have also received that it's okay from Jay's training.
Reply
pas1745 Premium
Thank you, if this is wrong, I am paying to use Jaaxy for a mistake.
Reply
MarionBlack Premium
They are not competing. If you read the search results you'll find that the words are coincidentally the same.
Reply
MasterEd Premium
It may be given it a GREEN dot simply because the competition is low.

Members here can use their own search results, I'm not telling them to use this, if they don't want to use this.Thanks.
Reply
pas1745 Premium
Competition not that low at 72. Members, please use higher if this is best for you.
Reply
pas1745 Premium
Thanks, Marion, this is shown on jaaxy for 1st. Page. Why is this?
Reply
pas1745 Premium
Hello, Marion, this is a shot of my Site Rank by Jaaxy. It's either you're wrong or Jaaxy is wrong. This is for another post: "How can I find Amazon Echo". I am making monthly payments on Jaaxy and I want to get the correct results.
Reply

"where can i find amazon echo" is a much better example to use Prince. It has 75 searches and only 4 competition. We should look for high searches and low competition. Not low searches and high competition.

A green light doesn't mean anything if you have less than 10 searches a month.
You will get no clicks for being no. 1.

Thanks, TJ.I want to add that I am not advising members to use <10. This is their decision. I was given this from jaaxy. So I want to make this clear. Take care.
