When you have Traffic it’s Time to Monetize

It is possible to make a decent income from your blog by monetizing it with Ad Networks. This is the best way to make passive income as a professional blogger. Media.net makes it easy to earn passive income.

Let's say you've just started a blog. Your blog is producing great content and you do it consistently. You also have a lot of visitors (traffic) to your blog daily.

This is when you should monetize your blog using ads to generate revenue each month. Advertising is a simple concept. Your blog acts as an advertiser. Your loyal readers will read your content and click on the ads and go to the merchant's site.

You also get commissions for receiving clicks on these links.

Google AdSense is an easy-to-remember platform. But it doesn't pay a lot and isn’t recommended by many bloggers.

Google AdSense is not comparable to other networks and can make your website really slow. This can affect your SEO score in Google search results and can result in less traffic. So, what's the solution?

Media.net can help you generate high ad revenues even if your site is not generating 100K page views per month. You can get a high CPC (Cost Per Click) and RPM (paid Rate Per 1000 ad impressions, Mille) for your blog.

Here is a brief introduction to the ad network.

Hi Lily,

I have a question. I went on Media.Net's website and this is what I found in their program guidelines regarding the amount of traffic they require in order to apply with them:. "Have a reasonable volume of visitors already using the website"

Could you tell me where you found the "5000 pageviews"?

The reason I am asking is that I've been using Adsense for quite a while now and did not know about Media.net. I know about Mediavine which pays a lot better, but requires 50000 pageviews per month ( that I don't have yet)...

Thanks 😊

Hi Denis,
I actually had this information from a dear friend of mine who uses Media.net, they don't tell you this until you apply and it can come as a rude shock. But hopefully, you can meet this pageview level sooner than the one for Mediavine, ouch.

Still not at that level yet but getting there...I only have about 100 visitors per day so approximately 3000 visitors per month. (remember that I still work my full-time job, so this is a "side-kick") 🙂

Adsense has been paying me constantly, but as you say, not a lot! It only pays for a few expenses...

One thing I am wondering is this:

I presently use this method with Adsense. I place the ads in my articles manually, meaning I embed an HTML code where I want the ad to appear and I never let Adsense decide where they would place the ad. (I have seen the mess they create when you let them do that)

What if I go with Media.net in a little while (let's say when I get about 50 extra visitors per day, which could be soon) I am wondering if I will have to go and change hundreds of articles and delete the HTML code to each one of them?

Interesting post Lily. I use Ad Networks myself to monetize my blog.

With Ezoic, I'm not sure if they require you to change DNS if so i wouldn't wish to, because I dont' want to change from WA

I also use another adnetwork, which has 4 ways to make money from your blog and pays cash daily.

So confirming what you write about these are great ways to monetize your blog

I’m with Canty. I am far from the amount of visitors needed for ads. Thank you. I will save this!
