Sure C, I thought I included TOO many steps, but in reality I could have included even MORE steps but I didn't want to make it too long. Just trying to be thorough.

What you had was enough for people to know what they need to do but also that they can play about on their own and find out more of what is available. I know what you mean about putting more because people want you to practically do it for them and the more you share the more they want.

Congrats Yayy!! England is out, I didn't think they'd win but I thought they'd get further along. Glad you're happy :)
I appreciate that about the training, there is rarely ever a happy medium, but I thought I did well with the simplicity of it without doing "everything" for the newbie with this training :)

Very interesting and easy to follow, Kaju. However, I have a dumb phone. Not sure how to transpose your instructions to a desktop computer. Carol

Lol Carrol! That is the most prevalent limitation for many here, the barrier of using a smartphone.
There is a program called Blue Stacks that you can download on your computer, and then use Instagram on your PC or Mac. I have never used the program, but I am sure its very useful.
I was taught that IG is meant to be used on a smartphone, for this is the "purist" way, no matter how much I resisted in the beginning!

Thanks, very well explained and more steps than I imagined but also allows you to be very creative.

Rick I agree, I gave many simple actions detailed steps, but I don't want to assume knowledge here. This is a tutorial for beginners just getting their feet wet with IG Stories, that's why I have included so many steps.
I actually left out some additional in-between steps as I explained. because I didn't want t make the tutorial even longer.
In reality, if you are intuitive just play around with it, and the program is quite easy. Kids do it.
