Insert a different advertising banner on top of every post, or add a banner beneath the footer.

No coding, anyone can do this

The steps:

1. Upload the Header and Footer Script plugin, install and activate

2. The plugin will appear in Settings

3. Create a leaderboard banner 728x90

You can use Canva or DesignWizard to create one.

When you have added the header and footer script plugin you can find it back on your WP dashboard under "settings" and there you can add the image code.
1. save the image on your computer
2. upload the image to your WP media library
3. Add image to a test-post
4. Add any link you want to the image
5. Open in new window
6. Go from visual to text
7. Copy the complete image code
8. Paste it into the header part of the plugin

For example code see screenshot
I hope this will help you understand

Hi Loes,
Thank you for the knowledge sharing.
I just wonder, how many plugins do you use for your website?
How is the performance? Any impact?
I remember Kyle suggested we shouldn’t use more than 5.
Do you get penalized in Sught Health for having too many plugins?
Thanks
Mary

Sorry to jump in, and surely Loes will come up with a better answer.
It is mostly depending on the quality of the plugins (how well coded they are). My site health is 0% in plugins because I have several, but my site speed has not been affected.
Probably because of the new super speed features and also because I am carefully selecting the plugins I use, for the use they are only (no weird stuff).
A good indicator is the number of installs and rating (based on the number of people who rated) of the plugins. With that in mind, plus some feedback from WA members on specific plugins, you should be safe of performance issues.
One thing to have in mind is to check your performance with every plugin you add. When something gets odd and is not only once, time to try a different one for the same function.
I hope that helps.

One more thing is that this plugin, in particular, is useful to add permanent codes, such as Google Analytics, without them disappearing when your theme updates.
