How to Find the Right Image. Pg.2

If you have been here for more than a couple of days and have been following Kyle's Certification Courses or the Bootcamp thingy, ( Marion Black writes it "Thingie" who's right?) then like everyone else you are using images in your article.

Now, before we take a look at the very best practices to develop when it come to knowing how to optimize the images, I want to share with you some resources that great minds like Loes and Marion and PJGarmin and others have shown me and where you too can get stock images for free.

Note; The Teddy Bear I use is named, Ozlow, he is my son's, now 21 years old, teddy bear and my stunningly beautiful wife playfully threw him at me when I was doing my profile at WA when I started here. However, I did not trademark or Copyright him and now I see him from time to time in other people's Facebook profiles and so on, although Google usually identifies him with me when you come across him in Google Image searches, but not always. If something is yours and important to you, copyright it.

So, what does this mean to you? It means when dealing with images, you need to be very careful while searching for them and choosing which ones to use. You can’t just use any of the million of Google Images to pick any image and add it in your article because those images might be copyrighted and you might run into some big trouble for using them.

So.....What's a bear to do...Right?!? Well, instead, you can use the various websites for free stock images or you can take your own or you can buy them.

I just looked in my picnic basket and found these sites you might try. These websites are free; FreeDigitalPhotos, MorgueFile, Pixabay, etc. that provides stock photos for free and sites like ShutterStock where you can get high-quality and professional images by paying a few bucks for each photo or image or even videos, clips and sliders.

It would be even better if you could produce custom images for your website's articles or posts. That way, no one will ever bother you and you will have all the rights to the images because you created them on your own and you retain all the rights.
