When creating our website, the look and structure of our websites are always one of our priorities. But after setting it up, we many times forget about it. Many of us feel the moment our website designer or consultant puts it in place, then that is the end.
We do not worry about it, but it is a concern for new website users and search engines. Thus, your website structure affects SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
A lot had happened after your first setup. You must have created and deleted post on several occasion. Not just articles, you could have created links and deleted articles been linked up unknowingly. All these activities contribute to both user experience and accessibility of your website to search engine bots.
In this training, I will not be referring to site structure in terms of design and layout. I will be referring to the organization of both your post and pages. The same way your content plays a large role in search engine optimization so does your site structure. Internal links, headings, categories and tags, and your site maps all affect your website search engine optimization.
We must begin to see how they directly or indirectly affect our results.
