There are a lot of cool text customizations that you can use to style your message, or to emphasize what you are trying to say. In this lesson, we are going to look at some of my favorites for social media posts, or for use in Canva when I'm creating my own images.

You may have noticed the cover image for this training is a custom design. I created it in Canva, with text that I had altered in YayText.

ⒷⓊⒷⒷⓁⒺ Text Customization

Bubble text is a fun text, and can draw attention to a post.

To create the "Welcome" text below, I went to yaytext.com, I found "Bubble text" in the left sidebar menu, clicked on it, and entered my text into the text box.

🅦🅔🅛🅒🅞🅜🅔

As you can see, there are a few variations to choose from, and I selected the second one. The options for use are Preview, Copy to paste somewhere else (as I did above), or Tweet.

Another fun text is Square text. It is also attention grabbing. With this particular tool, no matter how you enter the letters into the customization box, they will always return in full capitalization, like this:

🅆🄰🄽🄽🄰 🄱🅄🅈 🄰 🅅🄾🅆🄴🄻?

It looks kind of like Wheel of Fortune tiles, or Scrabble tiles.

Now, let's look at Cursive and Double-struck...

A Lot of the options don't seem to render on my Android device ??

If someone who is seeing All the goodness on a Desktop or Laptop could also try it on an Android Tablet, and tell the class if it is Platform dependant, or am I just hallucinating .. heh !!

Thnx

Joe

Hey Joe!
I had only used it from a tablet or desktop prior to writing this, but I just tested it on my Android phone, and it worked fine (?) Definitely not as user friendly trying to use on a phone though. Much faster and easier on a PC.

hmmm .. that's odd .......
Looking at it, with my "Galaxy Tab-A" Tablet, a couple instance is as seen below (I assume the first text should be in some form of Script/Cursive font, but as you can see, It ain't happening .. lol)

Thnx

Joe

That is odd! I believed you. I just can't replicate the error on my end!
I did a search though to figure it out, and as it turns out, some devices will render different looks. In fact, on the bottom of each page in YayText, under whichever tool you use, there is a section that shows different possible results depending on the device!
