In the previous lessons, I covered some of my favorite text styles to use in blogs, posts, messages, emails, and anywhere that I'm creating content. With the useful tools at YayText, I am able to customize my text to emphasize a statement, or draw attention to a topic, even when a toolbar isn't available in my post box to do so.

(Go to the beginning of this tutorial to learn more about YayText, and how to use it)

Add some Style to your Facebook Posts!

To show an example of how I use YayText to customize my Facebook posts, I've taken a screenshot of a new post that I just created.

Rather than just type my post title in plain text, I used the YayText Bold and Italics tool to add some style. Now, my title, though short, is more eye-catching:

With this particular post, the picture is what initially catches the eye, but with the subtle use of italics and bold in my text, I've drawn more attention to my post. (the greyed out area is where my url is typed, and you can see I've added some relevant hashtags)

So you can see how this text tool can be very useful for social media posting!

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, and have fun using yaytext.com to style your own posts!

A Lot of the options don't seem to render on my Android device ??

If someone who is seeing All the goodness on a Desktop or Laptop could also try it on an Android Tablet, and tell the class if it is Platform dependant, or am I just hallucinating .. heh !!

Thnx

Hey Joe!
I had only used it from a tablet or desktop prior to writing this, but I just tested it on my Android phone, and it worked fine (?) Definitely not as user friendly trying to use on a phone though. Much faster and easier on a PC.

hmmm .. that's odd .......
Looking at it, with my "Galaxy Tab-A" Tablet, a couple instance is as seen below (I assume the first text should be in some form of Script/Cursive font, but as you can see, It ain't happening .. lol)

Thnx

That is odd! I believed you. I just can't replicate the error on my end!
I did a search though to figure it out, and as it turns out, some devices will render different looks. In fact, on the bottom of each page in YayText, under whichever tool you use, there is a section that shows different possible results depending on the device!
