Would you like to show an image with your affiliate link and want the ad to flow with your article? Here's a great way to make that work.

Have your content written

I've found the best way to begin is to have my content ready to go first. It's been my experience that it is easier to move an ad or photo around your existing content and be sure your formatting is correct then it is to insert then write. Your content doesn't need to be long or finished. It just helps to have a starting point. I usually add a few line spaces after my content to be sure the formatting after my special fixes is correct and in line with the rest of my article. Sometimes I'll even finish my entire written portion then go back through and add any photos, ads, or formatting for headings and such.

Choose your Ad or Photo

Once you've decided what you're writing about you can figure out what ad or photo best goes with your content. You don't want anything that is so off base that your readers leave your page so be sure it's something that makes sense.

If you're an Amazon Affiliate, Amazon generates the HTML code pretty easily. You can set it up in Amazon before you copy it over.

I am struggling with my Word Press Rich Editor site. I do have knowledge of HTML, but in my text editor it just keeps trying to "correct" the html that Amazon gave to me. As a result, it wont visually come out correctly... in fact nothing appears!

I'm glad this was helpful! I had done the same thing, Shawn, searching for how to fix my problem. Took forever before I fully understood the HTML portions and I couldn't find anything that really helped.
