10 Tips - Does Twitter Still Work for Promotion?

In the past, getting Twitter followers was important. Many people, who worked hard and used questionable methods to build their follower base, now have enviable followers’ numbers but no traffic. It's becoming more difficult to build a Twitter following community.

Is that to say you should lose all hope? There are many ways to use social media to drive traffic to your website and increase sales.

Twitter's golden age is over. Twitter was once a popular social media platform for online marketers. But its potential has diminished to an extent.

Ask yourself, should you be using Twitter to drive traffic to an affiliate website?

It is still an effective public relations tool that celebrities, politicians, opinion leaders, and others can use. Trump's tweets, and some of the funniest reactions to them, have attracted worldwide attention. People with a lot of followers get thousands to share their tweets. So, perhaps it is a tool that you can use to create a following for your business.

These tips will help you make the most of Twitter.

Twitter is one social media account that I avoid. I have one for my gardening account but I never really spent much time growing it like I have with Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Reddit and Quora. Do you think It should start a new account with Twitter for my MMO site? Jim

I think that this is a serious question, Jim.

If you are getting all the traffic you want from the other ones you use then no, I don't think so if it will take you away from writing content every day. It really is a big-time investment to get results and you need to be sure that your target audience is on there and will visit your website.

Just my opinion.

I have better ideas now after reading this blog, Lily.
I loved No.6 and no. 10.
In terms of tweeting frequencies, which one you would recommend for beginners? MeetEdgar, Requeue, CoSchedule?
Twitters itself also has its own feature to schedule posts, isn't it?

Twitter is not popular in Singapore, and most Asia countries.

That said, I still do post on Twitter. Just to be there. In case it ever blows up.

Meantime, I just post, and rarely engage.
