Being members of this great learning and earning opportunity known as Wealthy Affiliate, we all have the ability to help each other to jumpstart our website rankings by offering quality comment engagement. You do not want to give generic comments but rather the kind that is relevant.

QUALITY COMMENTS = CERTIFICATION

It is very important to know how to leave quality comments. If a comment is not of good quality or even not what is being requested, the owner of the website may disapprove the comment. You definitely do not want this to happen often if you wish to be certified.

Even though I give quality comments with lots of words and keywords to help the website owner to increase their word count and possibly rank for those extra keywords, I did have a comment disapproved. I am actually happy for the disapproval so I could show all of you what happens.

In the above image you can see the one disapproved comment that I received. Next to the black square with the word “Disapproved” there is a black circle with a white + symbol. When you click on that + symbol it will display the reason the website owner disapproved your comment.

Because of that 1 Disapproved comment and based on how many other comments I had already posted, my Comment Approval Rating went down to 97%, as seen in the above image. If you go below 80% within a 30 day period you will not be a Certified Commenter.

So it is important to give quality comments if you want the majority to be approved. This will require you to read all, or at the very least, most of the post you are commenting on. I realize this can be time consuming, but it is necessary for comment engagement that looks real.

Hi,

I have been confusing for a long time.

What are the differences between "give and take comment thread" and "Site Comments"?

Other than the "Site Comments" can earn credits and used as money, both of them use to ask comments.

As I know, I can earn 1 credit if I offer comments on "Site Comments". But, if I request a comment, it needs 2 credits. That means people need to offer 2 comments to request 1 comment.

In "give and take comment thread", you can request 1 comment with just offer 1 comment.

If I'm correct, the time spent on "Site Comments" is double for 1 comment.

Then, why people need to use "Site Comments"?

The main reason is 1 Community Credit and $0.50 Cash Credit if you become "Certified WA Commenter"?

It really confuses me.

Thank you so much.

Hi - It was my understanding that even when using the give and take comment thread 2 comments should be given when asking for a comment. This is of course on the 'honor system' and no credits are required.

I think the main purpose for the credit comment system is for members to gain higher quality comments, although that is not always the case regardless.

I hope that helps!
Take care, Shannon

Sharon gave you a good answer and I would like to add the following.

Using the give and take comment thread you can get away with leaving lame comments like...

"I really liked the information you have shared here. I really learned a lot. Thank you."

If you were to leave a very short and generic comment like that on Site Comments, the system would reject it.

Sp getting comments through Site Comments increases your chances of not getting lame generic comments.

Thank you so much. I will spend more time on Site Comments to get high-quality comments.

By the way, what is Sp in the last sentence?

That was an error in my spelling. Should have been the word 'So'

Thank you so much. Your Site Comments training inspires me a lot.

I like your training also because you can always express the SAME things in different angels that let me understand easier.

You are welcome. I am happy you like my training tutorials. I always find it useful to be able to explain something from a different angle or in simpler terms than Kyle does.

This is also why I only do written tutorials because if I need to make a content update or change an image, I can without scrapping the entire training tutorial.

Hello Boomergp08, I think this training must be put right in front or close to having a website comments section of the Onlne Certificate Training or Bootcamp, as it will teach newbies how important it is to leave quality comments to boost one another Google rankings and for their own good as well. I have learned so much through this training and from now on I know what to look for and how to put down engaging comments to help fellow WAers.

Thank you. I am happy you enjoyed this training. You are not the first person who has told me that this training should be included with Kyle's training. I happen to agree. :)

Hello Boomergp08, Thank you for a great training, learning a lot and taking notes. One thing that I was not sure of when doing site comments making money online via WA; was that as a member of WA, I did not know that you can ask a question and "pretend" that you do not know what the answer is or how it works. I thought they will track and trace me here on WA and then ask me why did I ask the silly question if I have experienced WA. However, I get your point that we should not appear as if we have a WA bias, that we should act like natural visitors the same as everybody else. Great point, so next time I will not hold back.

You are welcome Zinzi. Yes you can pretend to not be a WA member or not have knowledge in what you are commenting on. By "pretending" you can create engaging comments by asking questions about things you may already know the answer of. Or if you want you can also offer your opinions based on shared knowledge. The point is to NOT leave some generic comment that wouldn't provoke a response.

I presently don't have a means of paying for my membership.. I upgraded with the intention of getting the training, use the knowledge to start my business then cancel my membership and return here when I must be buouyant enough. But if site comments can rescue me within this two weeks that is left for me, i will be so glad.

Sorry, but two weeks is not enough time for this to help you. It will take about a few weeks just to become a Certified Commenter, because you cannot earn money until you are certified.

Then you will need about another month to earn enough for a monthly membership. All of this is contingent upon you being able to give relevant unique engaging comments and getting them approved.

Rob, hi, I just got certified although I got one disapproval in all. So, my question is how does it go on the first of each month. Is it automatically credited to paypal or we do the cash out from our end manually?
