When you have a minimum of 2 credits you can request comments on any of your website content by clicking the button in the image above. I will now explain the steps for each comment request. Seen in the two images below, you want to select the website you want comments on.

AND

Now you want to choose the particular page or post for comments. A drop down selection menu will appear showing every page and post on your website. As seen in the below image, scroll down until you find what you are looking for and select your content.

Next you will want to select the category that page or post is relevant to, see below image. Try to select a category that is a best match if not exact. Then as is seen in the bottom image below you want to select what kind of comments you are seeking.

AND

If you have 4 or more credits available you can choose to request more than one comment and spread them out over a period of time or get them all at once. As seen in the below image, each comment request is equal to 2 credits. 1 Comment = 2 Credits. 2 Comments = 4 Credits…

When all of your comment request settings are complete you will want to click the blue “Review My Request” button and a picture of the content you are requesting comments on will appear to the right of your request settings, see below image.

You can make changes if you need to. Once everything looks correct click on the green “Submit” button and you will see the image below appear. If you wish to request another comment on another page or post, repeat all of the steps I have described above.

NEXT UP = Replying, approving and disapproving comments left for you

Just one glitch with Site Comments; if I request comments spread over time I often still get them all at once. Then I have to edit the dates myself to make them look more random.

Yes. That is the one glitch I have seen too, which is why I do not ask for more than 2 comments at a time. I have reached out to Carson about this. Hopefully it gets fixed.

Still, it's not really a big deal, hey?

No it's not but it still would be good if it worked as designed. I just contacted Kyle on Facebook and he told me to send him the bug report on Site Comment and he would get it sorted out. So I just told him what the problem was. Hopefully it gets fixed.

Yes, that is one of the many benefits to getting comments. Plus Google also indexes the content of your comments and you can get ranked for any keywords that will sometimes appear in comments.

Thank you Trish. I hope it will help all those who have been turned off by the first version of Site Comments which I personally didn't use. This 2.0 version is much better.
