Welcome. If you are building your own websites, with Wealthy Affiliate, or directly on WordPress, you might have seen a link, called "Plugins).

But what is a plugin?

As the name suggests, this is a piece of software, you add into your site, to make you do certain things. There are so many kinds of plugins out there. The plugins you use, will differ a lot, depending on what you want to do.

There are plugins designed to filter your website of the possible spam comments, and one of the common ones is called Akismet. I have installed this.

There are social media plugins, and these will help add buttons for your social media network, such as Facebook, Twitter, and many others.

There are even eCommerce plugins! I have just discovered these ones, from my new website "Online Affiliate Training".

Some plugins are free, but most may ask you to pay, in order to use their full functionality!
