How to Write your Articles

Writing has been made very easy; to start writing, click on your profile picture on the drop-down, click on the “New Story” icon.

The Medium editor is highly innovative and intuitive software; all you need to do to edit a text is to highlight the text. On highlighting your desired text, an image with icons in the diagram below will pop up.

You can make it bold, change to italics, or add a link. Also, you can change a text size with the bold T and the smaller one.

Creating Separations

You can create separations between different parts of a story or article by pressing the enter key at the end of the paragraph, and your cursor moves to a new line, displaying a plus sign. A menu carrying 5 different icons will pop up, click the last icon carrying two dashes, and your cursor will move downwards to the next line.

How to Add Images

Adding an image is as simple as inserting separators; click on the plus icon, and the four icons will pop-up once again. To access images or any media file on your local system, select the camera icon, and pick your picture.

After selecting an image, it comes up with other image editing options like left align and center, quite similar to what you have in WordPress editor. As I noted earlier, this editor is highly innovative, it will pop-up image insertion options that best fit the image, and you can choose from it.
