When you are in need of an image for one of your posts/pages and you don't want to get in trouble with copyrights. Where do you get it?

When I first started, I was copying and pasting all the images from Google, then I found out that was not legal and I could be caught in Copyright issues.

I learned a bit and found out that Google has options to allow you access to only the images labled for reuse. This is where you will want to pick your pics.

First Step!

Decide what you are looking for and type it into Google.

Hit Search!

I tried this but it didn´t work. The image said ´HTML´ and it then appeared in my post as the word but not the image.Any ideas folks?

Click on the image in your search. That will bring up the larger, high resolution image in your browser. Then right click on the image and then 'save image as.'

Save it in the directory you want and then use it accordingly in your posts or whatever.

Wow, I used to do the same thing, then I went back and deleted them all. So as long as it is labeled for reuse we are all set? How the heck you figure that out? Thanks for the info.

The more research you do, the more you discover. There is still some possibility of problems but as I said below, if you have a contact on your site you should be fine and will receive a warning before anything serious.

Thank you again I must of missed the fine print. Lol this well defiantly help. I can't afford the program say anything about paying for my pics at a $1.00 a piece depending on the size. Then I can't use them as a logo unless I want to pay $2500.00

As long as you have some contact method on your website you should find no copyright fines before a warning to that contact.
