OK! On this page and the next two you will get to see the 3 different ways I promote my website and my WA Affiliate Links in Facebook Groups. NOTE: Please DO NOT copy my Social Media Marketing content! If you want to come up with something on your own that is similar, that is fine. Just do not do a straight up copy.
MY MOST EFFECTIVE WAY
I have found that the most effective way for me, is to list an eye-catching post and end it with “INTERESTED?” I do not leave a link. This way if people are really interested they will reply that they want more info. When this happens I send a prepared private message to each one with my link.
Doing it this way increases my chances of getting people to click on my link. It is not 100% effective but it is more effective (I have found) than the two ways on the next two pages. For this particular post I was searching for possible referrals to Wealthy Affiliate. I shared this in various groups for 3 days straight in different groups each day.
On average I get about 2 to 3 referrals a day but during the 3 days from September 8 to 10, the numbers increased each day, as seen in the below image. Mind you, this was not over a weekend. This was middle of the week, Tuesday to Thursday. From these 3 days I received 12 referrals, 3 completed their WA profiles, and 2 have since gone Premium.
NEXT UP = The Second Way I Use to Promote in Facebook GroupsGreat training, and a good read, I hope to be as fluent with time and effort.
Do you think that this is still current? As you have posted in Sep 2015 and FB has moved on quite a bit since then?
I ask as I was considering making my own "Business" page and getting people to "Join".
I look forward to any opinions you may have.
After you helped me understand that there were way to many links in my WA review, I went back and removed over half of them. I then also waited to be excepted into the groups i'd applied to join (something else that you had explained would take a few days, I was just being to impatient).
Then through following your training I was able to post my sales pitch with link into the groups.
So in a very long winded way I would like to say thank you for your help.
Many thanks
Tommy
Thanks, Robert, for giving me some much needed ideas to actually get someone to look at what I am presenting, rather than just click a "LIKE" button. :-)
