Those, who use WP webs have comment boxes on each page and when they create posts, all posts have their comment boxes and they can be easily switched on & off. As for me I turned them off on my pages and left on my posts.
because some pages don't need comment boxes, about page or privacy don't need comment boxes, also I turn them off on my some pages only let on my blogs
