First of all you will want to be on the front page of Wealthy affiliate, then scroll to the bottom left to where it says Account settings. It's the link at the very bottom, check out this screen shot .

yeah, I've been playing around with account settings in the past x days since Kyle asked the question about email overload and half the WAworld answered (including me.) I unticked the new contacts box, because that's summarized every day or whatever, with photos, in the cartoon talk-balloon (not its correct name, I'm sure) in the upper righthand corner of your homepage.

Thanks so much for the info, it seems pretty easy. I'm new, and haven't started much with training yet, and all these emails are driving me nuts, didn't know how I could read everything AND do the training, so I just moved everything in a separate email folder, so I don't have to see it right now. Limiting what I get is probably a better idea though, since it builds up so fast, I'll never get to it, I just need to find out what is important, and what I can do without for now, any suggestions?

I'd go for training first. It's the best. I like your idea of putting WA emails in a folder. You can skim them by title some other time. Skip (untick ) new follows and trending. You can see those other ways. But for sure, training first.

I would just concentrate on the training for now, and don't let the emails distract you from learning. Uncheck the new follower, new blog posts, and trending for now. I hope this helps, Good luck need any more help let me know.

I'm NOT new here and it took me a while to figure out how to do that. Thanks for the training. BTW you can use a free editing software called GIMP to make straight lines and circles for future tutorials. Lol.
