1- Add link in image using the editor
The first way to turn an image into a link is to simply add the url address in the post or page editor.
To do so, go to your post/page editor, click on your image and then select the small pencil to edit the image.
After doing that, select 'Custom URL' on the drop down menu for 'Link to'.
A small box will appear right under, and there is where you should place the URL that you want your image to link to.
If you want your link to open in a new window don't forget to check the box: 'Open link in a new tab'.
Click on 'Update' and you're done!

I am always having a problem putting pictures on my site .I go to the media library on WA members site and edit and there is nothing that says insert. I also want to change the url that the image keeps on coming up with as it puts it on a different page that where I want it to go. One more questions should we just keep our pictures in paint .net is that better.?

Are you following the training in the Green Button on the left menu? Adding images is simply explained in the lessons there. I suggest you follow the training in order and build your site accordingly.
When you add images to your own site, you do not go to "media library on WA members site", you go on your own site.
While you're writing your post on your site, in your WP admin area, there is an "Add Media" button just above the tool bar, once you click on that button, you can upload a new image and insert it into your post. This whole process is explained in the training though and you shouldn't need to look at these member trainings for it.

1. To upload an image to your website, first thing to do is to login into your website. After doing that, follow the steps in Lesson 4 of this tutorial: Media Library 2. In the current tutorial I am showing you two different ways to change the url of the image. Did you follow all the steps?
3. I don't understand what you mean by keeping our pictures in paint .net.
When you upload a picture to your website, you store it in the Media Library of the website.

I do follow the instructions but there seems to be a difference when you get a picture or image from Wordpress library and from my pc and go to pictures on your own computer. If you got some more information to add to this I would like to here.

What I am talking about is when you go to media library click the picture click add new but I do not see an insert button. I do not mean to be a pain but I know this is simple but it has been a challeng lately

I told you in my response above that you don't need to go to Media Library. Go into the post you want to edit, there's an "Add Media" button above the toolbar, I've attached a picture of this in my response above. Click add media, click on "Upload" tab if you need to upload from your computer, after upload, then select that photo if not already selected, and click bottom right "Insert" button.

You sound very knowledgeable, Anastasia unfortunately, I could not follow you in this training. Things did not look exactly how you displayed them on my site. And Im still too newbie.
Anyway, I was just looking to find a way to insert a jaaxy banner with my link into a sidebar widget.
Would you know where I could find such training, please?

Jaaxy should provide you with an HTML code(for the banner) that you just need to copy and place in your widget. Like amazon do.
As I'm not register in Jaaxy I can't help you find that, but if you get that code I can tell you where you should paste it in your webpage.
