Hey gies, this quick tutorial is for those Mac users like me that have an older model. I created this video because when I first started taking screen shots with my Mac I couldn't upload them to my Wordpress and couldn't find any training on how to do it.

I realised I had an older Mac so it was a little different, I think the newer Macs just make the screen shot as a jpeg to start with so you don't have to export it to another file.

Once I figured out how to do it I thought I would show others in case they too want to take a screen shot and learn how to change the file to use it on Wordpress.

When you take a screen shot on an older model Mac it creates the file in a "Tiff" format and you can't upload it to your Wordpress Website untill it's changed into a "jpeg" format.

In this video you will learn how to

  • Take the screen shot using your Mac
  • Change the File from a 'tiff' to the 'jpeg'
  • Upload it to your Wordpress

You will see your "grab" button to take your screen shot in the 'Utilities' folder when you got into your Finder on your Mac.

I like to put the 'Grab' app with my dashboard tools so it's easy to find.

Hope you find the video useful to you, if you have any questions just post a comment.

Cheers Rose
