We have been taught here at Wealthy Affiliate to write good content which we will not only rank in Google but will make our readers happy as well. This is good advice and works very well. However, in terms of Pay Per Click (PPC), it can be less effective to first send people to our content and hope and pray that those readers will click on through to our offer.
But Google hates the likes of sales pages, squeeze pages, lead capture pages, or whatever you want to call them. In fact, if you were to set up a website that only had one page and it was a sales page, it's likely that Google is going to penalize that website.
Going forward, I am going to use the term "sales page" to refer to any of the above, i.e., sales/squeeze/lead capture/review pages, etc.
So we need to use ways that can keep us off Google's radar but satisfy the requirement of getting PPC participants to our sales message.
As an aside, if you are not familiar with PPC or need a refresher, you can find a good intro here:

Interesting but I am confused, please explain: what is your final choice: Hidden lead pages or Leadpages? Could I use the Leadpages way with any other similar Squeeze Page creator.
Is there a training about that?
Thanks/Phil
I've tried running traffic to my blog posts, and even though I may not have the best CTA's, I can see this is not the best use of my PPC dollar. I'm not good at design, so I kinda wish a 1,000 word post had the highest conversion rate, but it doesn't. LOL
