Can you imagine the competition of how many posts are going through Pinterest? In my research, there have been approximately over 300 million people using Pinterest since 2019. I can't imagine how traffic is going online since everyone is working from home.

Everyone is trying to bring traffic to their websites and their videos. If you are in the mood to learn Pinterest needs.

Welcome

How to Drive more traffic during holiday seasons using Pinterest? Most content searches are for gift guides, food, decorations, and all sorts of holiday-related things. We want to get your product on the person's gift checklist.

Step 1: Create Gift Guides

Start Pinning 30 -90 days in advance

Reason: You want to be in on the Pinterest World Wide Major Trend each year

Example: Chrismas, Easter, and other major holidays demand "Gift Guides."

Create Gift Guides and publish that content on Pinterest again 30 - 90 days in advance.

People like to see a list of things, collections of things. An easy guide for anyone to follow to compare their own checklist.

Step 2: Create Seasonally Theme Images suitable for the holidays

You're blogging about cats and Christmas is just around the corner. Red and green coincide with Christmas. Also, add a Christmas tree with pictures to create a backdrop to understand your message. This means consider using seasonal keyword images to showcase your content

Step 3: Create a Round-Up Post

Do you have 6 different gift guides that you can include in one roundup post? People can see all the other options in one place. It's a place to share gift ideas of those seasonally-themed posts for moms, dads, and the kids.

Suppose you don't have enough content of your own. Consider reaching out to other bloggers that have content that aligns with yours. Ask for permission to include it in your roundup, like our Wealthy Affiliate Program members. Chances are they will help you promote it as well.

Step 4: Create a Holiday Funnel

A funnel is a freeway people are coming in at the top of the funnel, so those are your blog posts, your videos, any other social media content

You ask for other bloggers' email lists to create an Op-In Holiday post for something in exchange. You want the user to join your email list rather than social media. Because you can own your email domain and not the social media platform. It will provide a higher edge for a third party.

For example, A Christmas party is coming up. You have a checklist of everything someone needs to do to have a really successful Christmas party. And then you also have an ebook or something that you can sell them on the back end that relates to that checklist.

So, your funnel would look like an Opt-In, and then they go to a thank you page. They're up-sold to your ebook for a reasonable price, and then they go into your email sequence. With access to the user's email system, you can nurture them and upsell them to your higher prices later.
