This video shows you How to share your Wealthy Affiliate Link, either as a Pretty Link, or a Click Through Banner, within a WordPress Page
Doing this stops the possibility of some one taking your referral link and putting that into their address bar, which then means that should they join, they join under someone else and not you
It also means that they have a solid review to read at the same time!

How often does this happen? And most importantly, how person, who put an affiliate link to an address bar benefits from that? Sorry for not understanding from your explanation, but could you be more broad on this. I come across for the first time of issue like this.

It doesn't happen very often, bu there are some shady characters online who would steal your affiliate link, and put theirs in its place
