Over the past few weeks when people have asked me how to share your screen with Zoom. Fortunately, it’s actually very straightforward.

Above your taskbar there is a share screen button, if you click on the button, it will take you to the various screens that are available on your computer. There is also a whiteboard if you want to share ideas, et cetera. If you want to share media with other participants, make sure that you tick the box that says; “share computer sound”. This will ensure that other participants can hear your media playing.

If you want to stop sharing your screen at any time, just click on the “stop share” button. You will notice that there is also a useful “pause” button, this is useful if you want to share the screen again. Just be aware that if you have multiple screens, the “stop share” button will be at the top of the screen on whichever screen you are sharing.

If you want to share another screen, just stop sharing and go back to the “share screen” button and share a different screen.

Nice , but prefer Google meet, I teach 4-5 hours every day and found zoom to be a bit of a problematic tool. Google meet , in my opinion, is better. And Google..rankings etc. lol.

Stephen

Great information though.
Thanks

Good morning Stephen,

I hope you're doing well, I appreciate you taking the time to comment, thank you.

It's interesting Stephen, as I know you have mentioned Google meet before and how you prefer it. I think I used Google meet once when someone wanted to call me, however, I certainly don't know it well.

I find it amazing that all of a sudden it seemed like Zoom came out of nowhere and yet I had been using Skype for years, which appears to work fine for me. Although I do only use Skype for one-to-one calls. I would like to know more about Google meet and experiment.

Have a great day.

If you Google up Google meet, lol, you will find all the information on how to use it. Google, my best friend at the moment.
