To test your newly created email account on your iPhone, follow the steps below.

1. Open the Mail app.


The email account names are listed including the new one you've just created.


2. Click the Compose email icon on the bottom right.


A new email is opened.

3. As per the image above, in the "To" to field, type your new email address.

4. On the subject field, type, "Test 1".

5. Click Send.

In a few seconds you should receive your email with a subject "Test 1". :-)

HI, I tried installing email on my iphone. I can send but not receive. I deleted and repeated process. But nothing helps. Any idea what the problem could be? Thx in advance, Athena

Hi Athena, if you are not receiving email, make sure you have the correct incoming mail settings.
Please see page 3 of my instructions. My instructions might need clarification but the Incoming Mail Settings should be:

Hostname: <domain name of your email> in my case it's filcombasketball.com.au
Username: <my email address> discoden@filcombasketball.com.au
Password:<my password for that email address>
