Display Schema Markup in Google Web Results

This short video tutorial will show you how I add product and service reviews to my sites using Schema markup code, in return Google then displays the Rating stars next to my web results.

If you wish to have rating displayed in the web results, you must make sure the following are steps are completed correctly.

Step 1: Configure Google Authorship

Step 2: Install Plugin - Schema Creator

There are several different plugins that claim to insert the correct schema markup code, but the plugin that I use and recommend is called "Schema Creator" by Raven.

Once installed and activated you will then see a new icon when creating a new post/page, this will allow you to create a review. Please refer to video for more details on how it works.

Step 3: ALWAYS TEST - Rich Snippet Testing Tool

Once you've published a post/page that contains a schema review, copy/paste the URL into Google Rich Snippet testing tool. This will tell you if it's working or not.

Please be aware that Google need to crawl and index the post/page before the rating stars will appear, this can take an hour or days/weeks.
