Facebook is a platform where you can create awareness about your business. There are many people that seek business information through this medium. If there is no information about your business on the platform, then it is unlikely that you’ll get found. Setting up a personal profile is different from that of a business page.
Being a business, it would be unfeasible for other Facebook users to connect with it and become fans on it.
So it may not be getting many engagements from other users. However, if you set up a Facebook page for your business, it becomes easy for the other users to regard it as a business and engage with it.
Such business pages are liked and not befriended unlike user accounts. What they will have is followers and not friends. Having a page instead of an account gives your business a more professional outlook, makes it more official and people will be more willing to engage with it.
