Part of what I love to do is train local businesses on how to effectively use Social Media. I recently did a seminar where about 99% of them did not know you could now schedule post to share with your fans at a later date. Worse yet, they had no idea what to even schedule.

I realized then that this simple, yet powerful tool is not being utilized to it's full potential because no one knows about it. So I figured I'd make this quick tutorial just in case you hadn't heard about it either. :)

STEP 1 ~ Click within your status update (where it says Write something) and a couple of icons will pop up. You’ll notice the little clock icon…you want to click on that to begin scheduling your posts.

STEP 2 ~ Write what you want to say, add an image or even add a link then fill in the Year | Month | Day | Hour | Minute then hit that Schedule button. That’s it , you have officially scheduled your status update to show up in the future.

How simple was that? You now have a scheduled post.

Emcash ~ click within your status update and then the clock should appear with the other icons. Let me know if that works for you.

You have to click within your profile page the the clock would appear, may be you are writing in home page.

For some reasons I don't know, I can't schedule to publish my posts in a future time but only at present day. In fact if I click on the clock icon, there's no dates available to choose besides the one of the day I'm actually posting.

Hey Fabio, did a little bit of research and found some things to try. Are you using your page as the page itself? Sometimes it will not let you schedule the post unless you are doing as the admin and not the page. Also, can you try it in other browsers? It seems others have been having the same problem and it was their browser.
We learn something new everyday. Together we'll get this worked out. :)

I am talking about my Personal Profile, not my Page. I have a Page but it's not public so I can't tell about it yet. I'll try with other browsers later, I'm on my laptop now with only Firefox.

This is great stuff, Audrey. With your education and experience you should never assume that everyone knows what you know. I'm sure that you have a lot of knowledge that most people - most marketers - don't have.

I like the quotes idea. I'm a sucker for quotes.

Thanks for sharing and keep the ideas coming!

:) Thank you Scott. What a nice shot of confidence you just gave me. I figure it's about time I do what I love to do and share what I know. I'm finding more and more everyday that WA can become like a big family and I want to help my family out. So my goal is to put together tutorials and videos at least once every two weeks and then maybe go up from there.

How are you doing on WA and with your sites?

Very simple and easy to implement ideas here. Not only can you put up quote, but jokes and funny pictures tend to go viral quickly as well.

Love it! Jokes...how could I not have thought of that? I notice that pictures of dogs and babies seem to do VERY well also. Thanks for the jokes suggestion...I'll have to try that. :)
