Doing all your social media posting at one time can be annoying, and counterproductive. Drip feed posts to your business pages and other accounts with Hootsuite to improve your social media campaigns.

Hootsuite saves you time but if you're thinking of using it on Facebook posting into groups I found it a waste of time. People have gotten wise to HS posts and mostly ignore them. I have got better results doing it by hand. Good Luck

Hm. Now where have I heard that before.... LOL.

I haven't used HS for FB groups - just for my business page, in which case people volunteer to follow, so content will be more relevant.

@teambuild Facebook's edgerank (or algo), places less importance on anything automated. They want you to be inside FaceBook when you post, you'll get far more reach that way.

Strangely enough, the opposite can be said for twitter. (which is why I like twitter so much)

It really helps me because I don't have to do a bunch of little bits here and there. I can do 30 minutes, and get a few posts up for the next couple days.

I usually do a G+ share and G+ business page, then whack the twitter button. sometimes it would be good to just leave it all to be automated though.
